Well I finally got to talk to a few!!

Recommended Posts

Well today I got to talk with 5 different people that have managed to get on the ACA website and see what plans were available to them and buddy not 1 of them was happy but all 5 were really mad. All of them had insurance before it got dropped last month. One guy has wife and two children ages 5 and 7. He had insurance that was costing him $179.00 per month with a $500.00 deductible per year and once that was reached it went to zero for the remainder of that year. The only plan he qualified for on the exchange his Price is  $208.00 per month and has $5,000.00 deductible before any insurance even kicks in to pay any bills. He has a new doctor and a new hospital which both a re 47 miles away from where they live when his former doctor was 5 miles away and the hospital was 7 miles away from his home. The other 4 folks had pretty much the same story except for 1 and he is only 22 years old and no family and his policy would cost him $149.00 a month with a $2500.00 and his doctor and hospital we both over 30 miles from his home and he has a doctor and a hospital withing 10 miles of his home that are not in the plan. Also not one of them qualifies for a tax credit. I have a feeling the ER's in most hospitals are going to be very busy with people that choose to pay the fine rather than buy an exchange plan.  The entire plan is more than a train wreck. It is a #7 earthquake on the rector scale for sure......jmho

I am sitting on pins and needles myself wondering how my insurance will be affected once the employer mandate kicks in....I am already paying about $400.00 for 4 people under my current insurance...if I lose it and have to pay more, I am going to be seriously pissed...I have been sitting and watching/reading various news sources and seeing reports of people losing their coverage and am amazed that BHO and the liberal media continue to act as if this was the plan all along...god help us

Obama met with all those red state democrats today that are sweating their jobs in 2014 and he was nice enough to give them all baby pacifiers and tell them not to worry cause the ACA computer site will be up by end of this month and every one I hear talking about it on the news say it won't be ready by then............

When it becomes useable, their problem is just going to get worse.  There are tens of millions who right now are at least able to delude themselves into thinking they won't get the shaft.

Those senators are like the losers Bloomberg bought off in Colorado...  "acceptable collateral damage".

The ideologically blinded are able to avoid seeing the truth, but Obamacare is just a massive tax increase disguised as insurance reform.

I wonder how long before the majority of those on the dem plantation figure out that having coverage doesn't mean having care?

No, Obamacare is a massive Wealth Redistribution Scheme disgusied as heathcare reform.

The healthy will no longer be able to enjoy or take advantage of the financial benefits of being health.

They inadvertantly admitted how bad it really is today.  I saw a news blurb that congress wants *monthly* !!!!!!!!!!  reports on the progress of the repair of the web site.  Now, in the internet world, a site that is borked is fixed nearly overnight, or at the worst, in a day or 2.   Not MONTHS later.  Because if your site is busted for months, or down for months, people give up on it.  Its just not in the cards to have problems on that scale.  Heck the worst stuff I have seen, new online multiplayer game launches, are only screwed up for a week, 2 at the most for the worst of the worst.  They fix it fast or they lose all their customers.

Naturally, there is no competition due to the mandate, but when a site takes more than a week to fix, its BAD.

I got a letter yesterday saying I was grandfathered in for my BCBS single person plan (See?? Obama was right, I get to keep my plan!).  I'm just waiting for the letter that says my monthly premium is gonna double ... I *hope* I'm wrong ... but I have a feeling I'll get shafted somehow before this is all over.

Obamacare is a lost cause. for every person who likes it there are two that dont. Many of those who dont are having premiums raised outrageously in order to fund other people's policies. Just another step to socialism.

The only people who will like it are the ones not having to contribute to it.

As far as tax increases and income redistribution go, they are usually one and the same.

That $5000 has to be paid first before Obamacare will consider the rest of the bill, so your out of pocket expenses

just went through the roof. All those Dems didn't know that, quite a few of the rest didn't either. And anyone who

still disagrees that the death panel exists, how do you think any part of the ACA can work without it? When the money

runs out, bodies will be used for Soylent Green. Remember, corn now goes in your gas tank. :D
