Session Persistence

Is there a reason that the length of a session on this forum is so short? It seems like it's set to be about 10 minutes. Meaning if you login and go do something else and come back 10 minutes later and you have to log in again.

It would be nice if you had at least a day or even a week. This is the only forum I frequent that requires me to log in each and every time.

Just a thought.

I'm no tecno guy, but I'm never logged out. If I leave it inactive all day and click on new post it's like I never left. The time on line also reflects this. Maybe it is something in your settings?

Ok, I don't have a Mac.....but my computer logs me out after about 10 minutes or so of inactivity here. So many times, as I'm writing a new post, if I take too long, I'll get logged out before I can finish.

How do I get my computer to keep me logged in?

Privacy Tab

Cookies

Keep Until = They expire

IE

Tools --> Internet Options

Set privacy to Medium and it should work.

Might also try clearing cookies and logging in as well.
