You know, S&W is AWESOME!!

Recommended Posts

I bought a M&P .40 caliber compact a few weeks ago. Me being a rather large fellow with big hands the standard magazine just doesn't get it for me. I called into S&W Customer Service asking how I purchase a finger extension for the regular magazine since it wasn't listed online. They are sending me one without charge! That is great!!

S&W has always treated me right. Had the locking bolt pin walk out of the barrel on me, causing me to lose it, the locking bolt, and the spring. Called em, up they sent all the lost parts, and 4 pins.

Even spoke with a gunsmith who had worked on their assembly line, and he gave me some pointers on installing it so that it wouldn't walk out again (put an -ever so slight- bend in the pin to create some tension). Was a pleasant experience. Took a while to get the parts, but was a good call.

Love my smith wheel-guns. They're my favorites.

When I bought my M&P9c, it had the external safety, which I really didn't want, but the price was so nice, I couldn't pass it up. I called S&W and asked how I could buy the plugs to fit the holes that would be left when I removed the safety, and the kind lady said she would ship them out to me at no charge.

I agree, their CS is second to none.

I did something really stupid with my wife's S&W .38. So stupid, I don't even want to mention it here for risk of being reminded again how stupid it was. Regardless, I had to have the gun taken in to be worked on, and the Smith sent it back to S&W to be inspected. S&W replaced the barrel at no charge, just to make sure the gun was safe. That's great customer service.
