Guest Boomhower

I had an old boss that told me I talked so fast that he could never understand what I was saying, and said he was going to start calling me boomhauer from King of the Hill. I used the name on another board, but realized after I had registered that I had misspelled the name. I figured, oh well, it gives a little more southern ring to it. So I kept it when I came here.

db initials

99 WJ (Year and WJ = Jeep Grand Cherokee)

Different year jeeps and makes have different 2 letter initials, CJ, YJ (early wrangler type), TJ Late model Wrangler, JK new model Wrangler, XJ Cherokees, etc.

Sorry, no cool story. Just my first name. Short for "Leonard," but everyone down south thinks its "Lynn." Of course, where I grew up, "Lynn" was a girl's name, so now I carry a gun.

I write the occasional column for my local papers here, and have found that with the willingness to put your opinions out there in the public sphere, goes the responsibility of owning up to them. Thus I use my real name.

My username is basically how you would say the word 'blanket' in a sort of pidgin English. My fiance works with 18-24 month old kids and ends up talking like them on accident occasionally, and one time she asked me for a branket and I thought it was hilarious so I started using it as a forum name.
