A milled 74? That's very unique!

Took for ever. She fires wonderfully. And I really do mean it. Just cant feed her. And now I got G3 and FAL screaming for rounds. Its tough feeding three types of rebellious rifles. Soon to get another rifle caliber as well. Thinking about saving up and getting a AK47. Keep my 74 company.

WaffenWerks was making some for a while. They were machined from barstock.

Without getting into too much detail, lets just say mine was a solid piece of steel that eventually grew its sexiness factor exponentially.

no offense intended, but those screw jobs are hack compared to a factory or even home built with rivets. it very well may last forever but those screws are likely to prematurely wear, and just look awful. you could have it rebuilt or just take your chances with the screws.

Yeah and if you weren't the one that put it together that leaves another layer of mistrust if it were me.  With professionally done ones popping up in the $400 range I would just put this one in the back of the closet and go get a proper one instead of trying to fix that one.
