Is the handguard rail exactly same height as the receiver rail, or about 1/16 to 1/8 " lower?

That was the only minor complaint I've read about some of them.

Wouldn't matter in practical sense unless you tried to bridge the two with something, which is never a great idea in first place I'd think.

First thing I looked at when I mounted it. It could be a couple sheets of paper difference but not a lot. I'll snap a picture and post it.

Since I'm still learning about AR's, help me out here. Why would this matter?

Mostly aesthetics, though some folks might want to put a scout scope or something bridging both sections, so same height important for that.

If the handguard rail is way lower than the receiver one, certain some front iron sights wouldn't be able to compensate to get elevation sighted in.

OS here it isRFUppergap_zps1e9da034.jpg

Cool. I'm sure the complaints were about significantly more difference than that. Also, I believe these were complete Radical pistols (not sure about rifles) sold through Primary Arms. The guy from Primary posted in thread saying he'd see about it with Radical; was all maybe 3 weeks ago now.

Yeah, I didn't think this was bad at all. Even if it was I won't bridge anything anyway. But I remember what you're talking about on the pistols.
