Who remembers having one of these ?

I had and still have an M14 that included a detachable magazine with plastic bullets. The bullets would shoot off, each cartridge had a spring inside. Also had a .45 that I still have. No orange tips on any of these.

I remember those.

I had the S&W M59 and 686ish versions!

The semiauto versions were much stronger than the revolvers, but you didn't have to hand cycle the revolvers.

My mission that day determined which one I grabbed (either inflicting maximum pain on my brother or winning firefights).

Those damn things hurt.

Lol, I had one of those Lark M19-A full auto BB guns when I was a kid (yeah, my Dad bought it for "me"    ).

Those were the ones that used the freon cans and shot an advertised 3000 BBs a minute, IIRC.

One time he and I were on the lake fishing and one of those thick clouds of blackbirds flew over us.  They started dropping out of the sky...

Anyway, I was KING of the neighborhood BB gun wars when I got that thing (kidding, we only used pump BB guns for those and had "maximum pump" rules).

I still have a BB in my ass from those days when a dick didn't follow the pump rules...I was scared to tell my Dad and it just healed up.

Actually, I think I might still have that Lark...  heh, heh.

I got a replica Bersa BP9 that shoots BB's. I figure it would be good practice pulling from the holster in the backyard or garage and picking off blackbirds when I got the chance.
