youre right oh shoot, the diagram is correct but its not part 74, and its not the flat tab that goes over the bolt, to change ejection ports no tool needed just a single round, no tools needed to change charging handle side either, now sight tool maybe.....the rear sight is a spin wheel, front sight may use that " thing" its just weird.....

Front sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, right? That's got a hole for the front sight post to go through, with pieces to engage the lugs on the post. The side looks like a flathead screwdriver to adjust windage.

The last bit is just another end to throw on an already silly tool that'll get lost - a round pusher for the ejection selection. Sure, it's "tool free" but hey, why not throw a tool in anyway.

The beretta logo branding on the side really throws it off as a part - few internal components get branding. This, as far as I can tell/guess/wonder, is a tool thrown in.

(BTW - most descriptions say the rifle comes with a sight adjustment tool. Did yours come with a different one elsewhere?)

I did take it apart, the piece came out of the handgrip, but after looking at a handful of them on the wall at the regal gun shop in checking them out that little piece was nowhere to be found. I fooled around with one, with one of the salesman, and still that little bugger was nowhere to be found, one Im working on did not come with a manual, did watch a Hickok video about it,he never made any mention of the sight tool. It's definitely a tricky rifle to figure out but once you do and get a broken down and put it back together a couple of times everything seems to fall into place perfectly.
I did find the sight tool for the 160 as shown below:

this thing is def a sight tool for the front sight, the one side works for the post the other is for pushing the lock that allows it to flip up and down.
