Well, I finally got my stripped lower last night.

It came in by was of transfer to Guns & Leather.

Now I'm getting real antsy. So here I sit, waiting on my Del-Ton order. No telling how long that will be, their homepage is quoting 8-12 weeks on processing orders now...

Oh, I have a raging case of EBR disease! About once a month I have to visit my specialist at Hero-Gear Medical Center in Winchester, TN. Dr. Joe is an infectious EBR specialist. I take 180 doses of Monarch 5.56mg every month, and my disease is relatively stable right at the moment. Until next month, when I'm having a Eotech procedure done. But that's a routine procedure. Good luck with your uh...problem!?!

Should we all post pictures of our fully assembled ARs in this thread now and torment you mercilessly? ;)

Congrats on taking the first step!

That's just wrong.. :)

I just wish I at least had my LPK, grip, and stock to begin assembling!

It won't get any better. I was a die hard AK guy, but there is just something addictive to these AR things.

BtW here is my Del-ton middy on my Sabre lower! I got mine on 4 days from order! Mwuhahahahahaha! ;)

Niiiiiiice. I went for the middy myself! No kidding about the addictive nature of these things. I haven't got my first one together and I'm already planning the next!

The next will be build as an SPR, around a 20" match grade upper...

Will I stick w/ .223 or go .308? Now THATS the question... decisions, decisions...

Just wait until you get the ship notification. Then you'll be refreshing the tracking results every 30 seconds and micromanaging every move UPS makes. Not that I know anything about this from firsthand experience...

I've definitely been interested in 6.8SPC, but would be a little worried about it's availability.

It's becoming increasing available and no longer is it as cost prohibitive as it was. I wish I hadn't sold my 6.8 upper now. Besides if you reload it uses the very common .270 bullet a big plus IMO.

I haven't called Del-Ton as

1) I'm sure there phones are ringing off the hook

and

2) Calling them to ask when my order will be shipping will NOT speed up the processing.

I figured plenty of people were calling and harassing them anyway, so I did some creative googling to see what people were reporting from their calls, and this is what I found:

The only bad thing about delton right now is that you will be waiting a long time to get your kit. I ordered mine in the beginning on november and they told me the other day i could hopefully expect it sometime in january because i had 800 or so orders in front of me.

So uncool. I'm dying here.
