Too dang much! Leftovers for daaaaays!

No such luck for me! And I was hoping for some stuffing and potato salad for a few days. My mother-in-law does both great.

But the guests helped clean up and helped themselves to most of the good stuff.

About all that was left was enough ham and turkey for a couple of sandwiches.

I decided since it was just me and Kasey I would do a Cajun Thanksgiving. We had 2 different type of fried Crappie fillets, Some Cajun spicy and some plain for her.  Then made some homemade Hush Puppy's and some Black skillet home fries with onions and Cajun spices in some and some plain for her. Made just enough for both of us to have a late snack about 6 PM after eating about 1:30 PM. She loves Crappie and fried taters as much as I do and would eat all I would give her................

On a side note, I thought I had tried all types of pies. A friend of mine asked if I had ever had cornmeal pine, I haven't, has anyone else heard of it? Supposed to be a depression era dessert made with what was available.
