Stock for Springfield 1917.

Recommended Posts

I got this barreled action a year or so ago from a friends dad, who's dad had cut off the rear sight assembly. I've been working on finding the various parts it's missing and need a new stock for it. I'm really not looking for an original because I can't restore it to original condition. Does anyone know where to get a new sporter stock for one?

I guess more correctly it is the Enfield. That's my bad, always called it and referred to as the Springfield.

That's kinda what I thought.

What are you looking to do with it?  What parts do you need?  Post a pic of what you've got to work with.

I'll have to take a picture of the full action and barrel tomorrow.

Just looking to get it into a stock and put optics on it for hunting use.
