Got a new toy

went to Harley to buy an 883 and they declined be because I have good credit, but no credit history. Went to Honda and they did the same thing on an M50 Boulevard. (They would accept with double of the down payment, so I said no). So instead I found this guy.  2001 Suzuki Intruder VS 800.  Shes super fun to ride, and has a little over 9,500 miles. She came with a shield and saddle bags, but they both looked pretty gay. So took them out and am going to retrofit two small ammo cans as storage compartments. And who knew motorcycle insurance was so cheap?!

Congrats! There are deals to be had and it's usually not at the dealer. If you paid cash you are better off.

As you eat bugs and dirt and stones and cold, cold air, you might appreciate that windscreen one day! Don't sell it :) plus road trips put a beating on you with the wind, there is relief with the windscreen there as well..

Ride safe and watch out for the chuckleheads! Enjoy!

The wind screen was tiny and very cheap. Also looked like crap.
