Big knife headed to a new home...

This is a big camp/hunter blade as requested by the customer. It's double acid etched 3/16" thick 1095 Carbon steel with IPE scales and what I call TGO mosaic pins. It has a false edge and jimping on the spine.

Great lines on that one.  It looks so refined that I would never have guessed it was that big if not for the picture of it in your hand.  To paraphrase a popular tune from the early '90s:

I LIKE BIG KNIVES and I cannot lie!

Thanks and yeah.....I made three cardboard patterns before we settled on this one. This was the smallest one of the lot. The others were....well they were stinking long.:rofl: Maybe someday I'll make the largest one just for grins. If you wore it on your belt it would go down to your knee.:rofl:
