I have a new Radical Firearms 10.5" 5.56 upper that is turning my barrel and rail brown from leaking gas at either the block and barrel or the tube to block points. My uncle had this same issue on a 10.5" 300 blk out upper and he sent it back. Before I do that, I think I would like to see if after enough rounds it fouls itself up enough to seal. What do you guys think?

I should I guess...I'm just afraid once I remove those screws that they will always be wanting to work themselves loose. I know there's locktite I just don't have any.

Apparently not bad enough to compromise function I guess.

But anyway, if it's that noticeable, it's probably the gas block itself and I assume it's a low profile one under the handguard. Also assuming it's on there with either bolts or setscrews. So unless you can get to those through the railed handguard, you're gonna have to remove it to tighten anyway.

I did recently discover the set screws were loose from radical, so I locktited them in place. No more leaking.
