Up for sale my Walther PPK (not PPK /S) .380 ACP in Stainless Steel. I’ve owned it for several years and I’m the second owner. This is a great shooter, or alternatively, a collector’s piece. Manufactured in the 1980’s by Interarms of Alexandria VA, considered the premier USA producer of this particular firearm · Complete with original vinyl case. Has some tearing at the hinge · All original papers including the “proof” target paper · 3 magazines all OEM. 2 with pinky extensions · My estimate of appearance is 95% · Included Galco slide holster. (never used) · Set of aftermarket rosewood grips. I purchased, and immediately concluded that the black plastic originals looked better. But they are yours. I’ve shot this very little during the years I’ve owned it. Excellent pistol with a great history. I’d mention the James Bond thing, however I’m sure I’ll get called out for it since he never actually owned one in .380 ACP. But I threw it in there anyway Asking $750.00 Not looking for trades, however, I would consider revolvers in .357 or .44 Mag. **Correction** I thought i had posted here. Posted on another site, so ive added pics of other configuration at the bottom. That setup is $2300. Posted earlier all dressed up. Decided to try it in og configuration other than barrel cut to 14.5" and flash hider p/w to 16". Only other non factory parts are the cheese grater upper and a KNS gas piston. $1700 out of state ship $1650 for TN resident with D/L

As it happens; a friend of mine recently got into handgun shooting. He acquired a Rock Island 10mm, I own one myself. His job takes him into the Smoky Mountains and he is concerned about bears. Have taken him to my gun club a few times and he can shoot quite well. Ran through some defense drills with him. Just yesterday he sent a pic of a black bear about 15 yards from him as he approached a house in Gatlinberg. Fortunately, the bear went on about its business without any "convincing." We reflected today how the 38 spl +P and 380 I often carry wouldn't have been much use against a bear. Against people? Would have said yes a few years ago. Not so sure anymore as bullet protective clothing is becoming more popular even with perps. A 10 might not penetrate a vest, but it would probably incapacitate the person long enough to run away. A bear might or might not be stopped, depending on size and shot placement. So here I am 75 years old and feeling like a .357, 10mm or 45 acp are minimum carry calibers. Wow, how times change.

I'm an armed guard holding state issued license with TDCI, never needed a hcp and for the record TN is constitutional carry. In that case any hcp obtained here is for personal reasons. Not a requirement in TN. Just my nickel in there on the subject. I recommend the bill of sell but never ask about someone spending 150 bucks to obtain a useless permit which even bordering states don't care for being a constitutional state in TN
