  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Berenson Alex Berenson (born January 6, 1973) is an American writer and a proponent of COVID-19 misinformation. He was a reporter for The New York Times and has authored several thriller novels and a book on corporate financial filings. His 2019 book Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness and Violence sparked controversy, earning denunciations from many in the scientific and medical communities. During the coronavirus pandemic, Berenson appeared frequently in American right-wing media, spreading false claims about COVID-19 and its vaccines.[2] He spent much of the pandemic arguing that its seriousness was overblown; once COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out, he made false claims about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines.[3][4][5][6][7]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tell_Your_Children:_The_Truth_About_Marijuana,_Mental_Illness_and_Violence Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness and Violence is a 2019 book by Alex Berenson. In it, Berenson makes harsh claims that cannabis use directly causes psychosis and violence, claims denounced as alarmist and inaccurate by many in the scientific and medical communities. The scientists state that Berenson is drawing inappropriate conclusions from the research he cites, primarily by inferring causation from correlation,[1]:1[2]:1[3]:1[4] as well as cherry picking[5]:1 data that fits his narrative, and falling victim to selection bias via his use of anecdotes[5]:1 to back up his assertions.[3]:1[6]:1[2]:1[7]:1[8] The title "Tell Your Children" was also the original title for Reefer Madness, a 1936 American propaganda film which gained cult popularity in the 1970s for its alarmist claims about marijuana. In an interview, Berenson said he made this choice deliberately: "I expected I would face serious backlash for this book and instead of running from it I decided to lean in."[9] Yeah so the truth I guess wasnt what he was telling.
  7. Where are the memories of the virus ending after the election?
  8. Their reasoning is that the right of the people to NOT be killed by a crazy or malicious person with a gun is more important than our right to go to the range or defend ourselves with a gun. They reason that if most guns are turned in that in not too long of a time that they will become scarcer and scarcer. Much like MGs and or NFA items being very common in crimes during the depression but then the NFA has made them to be very valuable and almost never used in crimes.
  9. No one is blocking virus. They are blocking spit and other things projected out of your mouth and nose with virus in them.
  10. I try with my old army buddies but 90% of them dont want to hear anything but the beating of a war drum at whoever happens to be their target that day and anyone who isnt on their "side."
  11. Surgeons do it every day. People who work on paint lines do too. I have been wearing a mask daily for months.
  12. Why do people keep up with this russian propaganda?
  13. The mask is to protect us from YOU not you from US.
  14. Negative. This man living and encouraging his listeners to get vaccinated would have been much more impactful than his needless death.
  15. I have had a couple of impossible burgers... Not bad at all really. Im not a big meat guy though.
  16. The numbers of Soldiers killed in motorcycle accidents each year is crazy. Like you say frequently (but not always) the rider isnt the problem but other drivers and the environment.

  18. It's not even so much we as americans when it comes to pollution. It is corporations. The whole thing about it being up to individuals was created by an ad campaign paid for by polluting companies to shift the blame. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_America_Beautiful#Criticism Heather Rogers, creator of the 2005 documentary film Gone Tomorrow. The Hidden Life of Garbage and book of the same name,[13] classifies Keep America Beautiful as one of the first greenwashing corporate fronts, alleging that the group was created in response to Vermont's 1953 attempt to legislate a mandatory deposit to be paid at point of purchase on disposable beverage containers and banning the sale of beer in non-refillable bottles.[14][15] Keep America Beautiful's narrow focus on litter, and description of the modern concept of litter, is seen as an attempt to divert an extended producer responsibility from the industries that manufacture and sell disposable products to the consumers who improperly dispose of the related non-returnable wrappers, filters, and beverage containers.[13] Elizabeth Royte, author of Garbage Land, describes Keep America Beautiful as a "masterful example of corporate greenwash", writing that in contrast to its anti-litter campaigns, it ignores the potential of recycling legislation and resists changes to packaging.[16] The tobacco industry developed programs with Keep America Beautiful that focused on cigarette litter solutions acceptable to the tobacco industry such as volunteer clean-ups and ashtrays, instead of smokefree policies at parks and beaches.[17] The tobacco industry has funded Keep America Beautiful[17] and similar organizations internationally.[18]| https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/plastics-industry-insiders-reveal-the-truth-about-recycling/
  19. No single person is important enough. 8 billion energy dependent hungry people with all their farming and livestock are able to change things like the weather.
  20. Thanks for posting this. I had a subordinate today that said something along the lines that you cant get the shot if pregnant etc. I brought up the CDC website to show different. She told me she didnt trust the CDC. She only trusts people that she can research their background. Meanwhile another subordinate insists all vaccinated people are getting covid-19 and getting put in the hospital. I let them know that they would both be getting vaccinated shortly and they could let me know how it works out for them.
  21. I never had chicken pox but in my early 30s I got a stripe across my abdomen that was very painful when anything touched it and was diagnosed as shingles.
  22. I did. The army requires it every year. I get paid for a whole day to walk in to walgreens and get a shot. $125 or so for 10 minutes of my time.
