  1. So what you're saying is that we should all bring our guns over to your house for cleaning Sounds great though. Not bad at all for $51.
  2. Nice...now the question everyone is wondering....when do I get to shoot this bad boy
  3. Ah...not really hip to that type of terminology in reference to cops. For me, relieved of duties means a separation of employer and employee and that makes more sense. I made one mistake though in the article. Apparently, the updated posted today was actually from what happened at some point in June. So I have no idea what that means. Although, has there been any update as to what's happening to William? It sucks that they haven't dropped the charges and are still planning to prosecute him even after he clearly stated he was carrying but then again, not our state.
  4. Well apparently, as of today, they updated with the following: I'm not really 100% what that means but I know, according to a news article, it stated he was put on administrative leave as of June 20th. Honestly though, he's pretty much like majority of the cops I've met. I've only met three who have been really decent with me. Two are female and one is a male and the only male cop I like. The two female cops rocked socks. I'd rather have cops with a better demeanor than ones that act like this. I mean, the guy didn't even replay the events in his head. He completely lost it despite the guy actually saying that he was carrying and was holding his license out for the cop the entire time they were talking to him. Hell, if I were the cop, I would have just let the guy go. Thankfully, you're not required to notify cops here in TN.
  5. Well I went to Bill's Outpost in Maryville and they were super nice. In fact, I never knew Galco made a hybrid IWB holster until I went there. I bought some gun grease while I was there. Their handgun selection isn't the best but my god I believe they had every rifle you could ever want on the wall behind them. They even had my Sig556 Classic SWAT up there. Too bad they didn't have the DMR. I'd love to see what price they'd put on it.
  6. I don't know about "sell" but I know they won't ship to TN, GA, or Alabama residents. Try calling them.
  7. Yes and it sounds all kinds of amazing. And if they run, you've got the barrel length for a great long range shot.
  8. Well, I'd hope that most good auction places wouldn't allow the owner or their family members to bid on their own items.
  9. Is there really that much of a difference in 4" of barrel length?
  10. True...could always go with an ACOG. Taylor got rid of his sight though.
  11. LOL I told you so I saw a Noveske 20" Stainless steel barrel with a 1/8 twist that looks amazing. Although, I still want 21 to 22" myself. Nice. Well, you could go with the holographic sight like John. If you haven't seen his, call him up and ask him if you can come over and play with it.

    FFL trasfers?

Wow...wish I would have seen that as well. Well the next time they put that up on there, be sure to post over here about it

    SIG p250

I was originally going to get the P250 but I decided to go with the P226 instead. Have you shot it yet? I know at some point when I had asked about the P250, someone had something the number of bad things said about them. I'm not 100% on it but it should be around the forum or web somewhere.
  14. I only have my Sig P226 at the moment but I normally fire off about 50 - 100 rounds of .40 and then switch over to .22LR and just fire until I feel like leaving.
  15. No he doesn't blame the holster. He literally states that he only blames himself. He accidentally disengaged the safety and when he went to pull the gun out to the holster, it didn't release and his finger curled right inside the trigger guard and on the trigger and then boom. Although, +1 to him for using target rounds instead of JHP.
  16. Speaking of price hikes...when I hit Wally World on Clinton Hwy for some strawberries this morning I checked in on the ammo and they had taken down all the prices for the .45ACP ammo so it seems like they are going to go up even more
  17. [/url]gun-deals.com - User-Submitted Gun & Ammunition Deals AmmoEngine: .40 S&W / .40 Smith & Wesson, Instock For Sale Premium & Discount Ammunition, Ammo Deals And I use Slickdeals.net as well.
  18. Okay...then I'll wait for you to have some time to show me your stuff so I can give this a try before I make any decisions...I may be up for some range time this week if you've got time.
  19. Well that's just a load of crap But I do see what you mean. Still, as close to forever as possible I do like Golden Eggs....they are delicious I know I ask a lot but it's more just because I know myself. I know that I tend to move my hips a lot and bump into things and the last thing I want to do is bump into my $700 gun while it's on my waist. However, my back tends to be the most stationary part of my body so it makes more sense to carry from that position to me. Nice handle btw I'll take you up on that offer...I did buy some ammo last night as well....range visit? But I seriously don't like leather...not sure why but I don't even buy leather belts.
  20. lol well that's okay...Gallagher View's prices are $2 higher now than Clinton Hwy. Federal .40 is $16.97 there but .45ACP is $18.97 vs $16.97 at the Clinton Hwy Walmart. The TulAmmo .40 is $12.97 though so at least that hasn't changed yet. Also, their Winchester target rounds are $1 more for the 50 round boxes than Clinton Hwy but the 100 round boxes are still universal now at $33.97. Yeah...and Turkey Creek normally has the 100 round boxes of Winchester when both Gallagher View and Clinton Hwy are out
  21. Awww Well, that rules that out. Yeah I saw that it looks identical to the Sig branded one but the $9.99 shipping kills it for me. I'll just wait until they send me another email for $2.99 shipping or something and then order it then though but thanks for the help. I just hope it lasts.
  22. I agree with you there. I may have to start looking online seriously for good ammo deals...$0.34 a round in store with sales tax is a bit much.
  23. Well better hurry and buy as soon as possible. .40 Federal just went up $2 at the Clinton Hwy Walmart and now it and the .45ACP are both $16.97 for a 50 round box. The TulAmmo .45ACP is still $14.99 for a 50 round box. The Remington 550 round box of .22LR JHP went up to $19.97. I'll check the Gallagher View Walmart tonight when I get off work to see if their Federal Ammo is still unchanged so I can buy a box or two.
  24. I really need it to be able to at least go 90 degrees in either direction at the least. Yes and No. The waffles would be awesome but I've got a guy already who washes my windows (it's me btw ). But seriously, is that really asking a lot out of a holster? The problem I have with a single draw position is that I'm not the type of person to use one position all the time. When I'm at the range, I'd rather my holster be in one position and when I'm not and just in everyday situations, I'd rather it be in another. For this, I'd need something that can at least tilt 90 degrees to the right so I can wear it around my back instead of my right hip. I'm too mobile to have it there permanently.
