  1. Nice N Frame, those are some great S&W's. Do you know when it was made? I'm interested.
  2. You need to oil it up and shoot it about 500rnds. like what was pointed out. Lapping Compund is ok but it only takes a very small amount because if you use to much you'll ruin the slide to frame fit by it becoming way to loose. Ask anyone here who ever owned a Les Baer 1911, those are some of the tightest frame to slide fit guns that there is, ask me how I know. The four I owned were so tight fitting that I could hardly rack the slide, so I lubed the hell out of them and shot about 500-800rnds. down them once that was done they worked great. Just my opinion and thoughts on this, I've owned seven Staccato's and after breaking them in by shooting them a bunch they feel like the slide is on ball bearings.
  3. One more bump up. There is some discoloration on the upper back strap and bottom of the trigger guard.
  4. Back up one more time for the holidays, then after that back in the safe. Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas

  7. Thanks for the comment, this one is better than the pictures show. Put this under your tree.

    Christmas

Your not alone in feeling like you do. Christmas has been this way for awhile, it's to commercial and has been that way. Christmas is supposed to be about spending time with the ones you love and reminiscing about the ones who have passed on in your life. Now it's all about the bottom dollar, they start earlier every year with their " Huge Savings Sales" and every commercial TV add, magazine and even the local news stations are constantly talking about the holiday sales everyday before Thanksgiving even started. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the time and even buy a few gifts but we always try to set a budget and who we're going to buy for, and donate to and that's where we stop at. Christmas is for kids and grandkids and we don't have any. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't fall for all the hype and enjoy your holidays with the ones you love, that's the best gift you can give and receive. Merry Christmas TGO and a better and happy New Year to all.
  9. Bump, Price Reduced, $1900 Cash FTF. Surely someone has been good this year and wants a Christmas Gift for themselves, I'll even wrap it up so you can slip under the tree and put TGO Seceret Santa on a tag that way your wife won't know you bought it for yourself. Thanks for looking, let's give this one a new home.
  10. Let's drop the price to $900 CASH FTF. This would make someone a great Christmas Present for yourself or someone who's been on your "nice list" .
  11. I ordered it with a single safety, and the DLC coated barrel, that's what I stated in the add. You could order a double Thumb Saftey and have a local gunsmith install it for you. Please PM me any questions like I stated in the add. Thank you.
  12. Here's a brand new never fired Staccato C DPO Optic Ready 9mm Single Stack 10rnd. Mags, three included thats how they sent them out. I ordered this one from a vendor on another forum I belong to, I had him add DLC Coating to the Barrel and to have them install a Single Side Thumb Saftey to it(I prefer those over the Dual set up) Staccato does not make this model anymore. Price Reduction $1900 CASH FTF. In the Whitehouse, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Nashville area but can drive a little to meet and complete the transaction. Please PM me any questions about it or if you need some more pictures. Thanks for looking. No trades at this time.
  13. Thanks, I've never fired it and the gentleman I purchased it from didn't shoot it much. Just wiped it down and put some Renaissance Wax on it and back in the safe.
  14. Price Reduced $900 Here's a S&W 22/32 22lr. Heavy Frame from the mid 1920's. Orginal Blueing and is in great shape, orginal Grips, sorry no box. $900 CASH FTF. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin and Nashville area, but I can drive a little to meet and complete the transaction. Thanks for looking, please PM me any questions or if you need some more pictures. Thanks for looking.
  15. Yeah that's the only problem with Gunbroker and the sales tax they charge. But you might make a decent profit. I'd put a reserve on it that way if you don't get that your not out anything except the listing. It would help if you had some kind of documentation of him singing it, such as a picture.
  16. https://www.gunsinternational.com/guns-for-sale-online/pistols/wilson-combat-pistols/wilson-combat-vickers-elite-1911-45-acp.cfm?gun_id=102449733 Here's a link to one of the 1911's that he owned. $7500
  17. I've seen a couple of his handguns a Glock, and a 1911 that was personally owned by him and documented but that was before he screwed up and got busted. I guess it would depend on the person who was wanting to buy. I personally wouldn't pay a premium either way, I've watched his videos and have the upmost respect for him especially for his service to this country, but being in the Firearms business as he was he should've known better than to get involved in the situation he's in now.
  18. I've owned 7 Staccato's, P 4.14 Full Rail, P DPO, C2 DPO, two C's and a CS. I sold the full size ones and the C2, I still have the two C Single Stack, and the CS. I carry one daily and like the way they feel and shoot. Have you ever handled one? I did some work on mine, I fitted new triggers and fitted Wilson Combat Bullet Proof Single Side Thumb Safteys, I personally just don't care for Double Thumb Safteys. Now they don't make the C Single Stack's any more, the CS I have is great to carry, the only complaint I have about Staccato on the CS is their Mags for it are a total different design than other 2011's. Meaning they won't interchange with the P or C2 mags. other than the cost of the mags I really like them. Here's a picture of four that I have except for the top one which is the C2 I sold, I'm probably going to buy another one of those. The next three are the CS and the two C'sif you have anymore questions about them let me know, I live in the Whitehouse area and would meet you at one of the indoor ranges and let you try them out if your local to the area.
  19. Hey GT, I'm glad to hear that she's doing well.
  20. I stopped going there for a long time, I bought a 1971 NIB Colt series 70 Gold Cup from another forum and needed a transfer done. I stopped in and talked to them and they even called the FFL that had the gun and set up the transfer. I thought that was pretty good of them, my Colt came in and they called so I went over to fill out the paperwork and pick it up. When it came time to pay I was a little shocked and mad, I was charged $65 for the transfer. I'll admit I didn't enquire as to what they charged and that's on me, I figured that they charged similar amount as the other shops, $25 + $10 background check. Never really went back other than use the range. Just looked at their website, I definitely won't use them for a transfer,$45 + background
  21. I was there last month sometime with my nephew. I haven't been in the old Hendersonville store for a while but did notice the Outpost Armory sign about six weeks or so ago but haven't stopped by there to see anything.
  22. Thanks, it took me for ever to find a set of Stag Grips for a K Frame. I like the way they feel and are more squared off at the bottom and they fit my hands great.
  23. They change the way the whole gun looks, I think so anyway.
