  1. I have never heard of them, but the price is great for a complete lower. I am definitely interested to see what some of the AR savants have to say about the quality.
  2. I am working through a box of "Thank You Berry Much" right now. It is one of their new ones for the year, cranberry and white chocolate. They are pretty darn good, but can't replace my Samoas. Since it has fruit in it, that puts it in the "health food" category in my book!
  3. I have never had any problems with the .223 IMO it is worth the saving if you are not a reloader
  4. I agree with a gift card to his favorite LGS, unless you know exactly what he likes/needs. If a gift card is not personal enough for you, then you could go with something universal. A nice range bag, shooting glasses, and hearing protection is one idea. That is the kind of thing that a lot of people already have, but might not have spent the money for the top of the line stuff.
  5. My dad has a LC Smith 12 gauge that I shot several time throughout my childhood. Unfortunately, I actually know very little about the history of the brand. I would definitely be careful with the damascuss barrels if you decide to shoot it. I would imagine that as long as the barrels are in good shape, you could use some very light hand loads. I am no expert and don't take my word on that. Either way, enjoy your beautiful side-by-side!!
  6. I missed it unfortunately. I had to take SWMBO to a Valentine's Day Predators hockey game. Hopefully it will be on demand tonight.
  7. I was always under the impression that Blue Labels were supposed to be $400 + tax & tics
  8. I know that On Target on Thompson Ln does a class. I have not taken it myself, but several co-workers have gone through with no complaints.
  9. Definitely, companies should just pay adequate wages to their employees to take good care of all of their customers.
  10. This is the attitude about customer service that makes me hate commission sale stores. An employee's job should be to help all customers equally with their purchases. It shouldn't matter if they are buying a $10 hammer or a $2,000 appliance.
  11. Congrats on the new job. I was in the Peddler a few years ago with a friend when he bought his Trek. It was a good store with friendly people. I will have to come in soon, SWMBO is wanting to get into Triathlons.
  12. I have always preferred to shop at non-commission stores. I like the feeling that the employees are trying to help me and not just trying to sell me whatever gets them the most money in their pocket.
  13. Prayers coming your way brother
  14. I took mine in Lewisburg. It was a class that was taught at the emergency operations center. The price was a lot less than most of the gun shops were charging. I can see if I can find the contact info if you are interested.
  15. Great find! The i have always wanted a 66 to go with my nickle plated 19
  16. Is there any chance that you could post the recipe? Looks amazing!
  17. I hope that you can figure out a way to get you data back. You have reminded me that I need to back up my external. It has not been done for a while.
  18. The zipper on my computer bag gave out a few months ago so I'm hoping for a Maxpedition Aggressor Tactical Attache! In foliage green to match the furniture on my AR of course
  19. My understanding is the same as Lester's. If it has a rifle stock, then it has to have at least a 16" barrel or it is a SBR. If it does not have a rifle stock, then it is classified as a pistol and does not have a minimum barrel length. Both are regardless of caliber.
  20. I'm carrying Hornady Critical Defense in my Colt 1991A1 right now.
