  4. Well we certainly are thankful for you and Sam! Y'all do a terrific job in these crazy times
  5. I saw the vid. I think his point was visualizing the argument Biden claims, that double barreled shotguns are a better home defense option.
  6. If you know what you're doing and have the experience and equipment (high power shooters), you can keep under MOA at 600 yards with the right ammo. And yes that's with iron sights.
  7.   Thanks Dolomite.   I did some research about WC 842 before loading up and found discrepancies on which data to use; CFE 223 or H335.  Also, I was advised to back off the load charge by 10% when using military LC brass.  Thus, that's the reasoning for my listed loads above.
  8. To all more experienced than I with testing their reloads:   I've brewed up a batch of test loads for my M4   Lake City brass 55g FMJ WC 842 (various increments between 21.9 and 23.9) CCI #400   Question is at what distance do you test these for the best load?  M4 is sighted in at 100yds with a red dot.  I thought of starting with factory ammo as a benchmark test and see what load does best compared to that......plus the barrel will be a bit warmer.   Any advice would be great. Thanks!
  9. CZ 452 American. Tack driver. Beautiful wood. Well made.
  10. And yet men's figure skating remains.
  11. I've just started. Got a Lyman and Sierra manual along with a RCBS Rock Chucker. It fits my needs and allows me to be precise and keep track of all that's involved with loading for rifle.
  12. Because I don't want to give my money to a bank that prohibits me from buying ammo or supplies or guns. That is what Bank of America is doing and has done.
  13. To be clear, I'm inquiring about banks that have gun shops and retailers as their customers. I'm not concerned with where I can carry, for the sake of this discussion.
  14. With all the chatter about Bank of America giving McMillian the middle finger and putting a hold on debit/credit card swipes for guns/gear/ammo, are there any banks that are pro-gun?
  15. after some careful looking, i was able to make out the bottom 2/3 of the serial number, enough to verify the accurate number.  and after some googling.....   it's a Smith Corona 1903A3 made in Sept of 1943
  16. Anyone know if David has any 223 bullets left?

  19. took it out and shot it this past weekend.  i suppose i expected more recoil with the 18" barrel, but it was really manageable.  scope shot high right, but I dialed it back in.   appreciate everyone's feedback.......it brings a better appreciation for the rifle!
