  2. A Gen 2 Glock 19. Still my favorite pistol. I gave it to my younger brother a few years back when he was looking to buy his first gun.  I still shoot it whenever he's in town.
  3. Mikegideon most likely had the solution to your problem. I had the same issue with my Gen 4 19. I went through a new RSA, a new ejector, and a new extractor. None of them fixed the issue. I was about to sell the piece of junk at a loss, when Apex tactical came out with their G-FRE. New machined, non-LCI extractor, extractor spring, and a new spring load bearing solved all my issues.
  4. Take a drive down 41A. Most of the mil surplus shops have them.
  5. Great ideas! I just use a ziplock bag reinforced with duct tape.
  6. I usually use modern sporting rifle.
  7. Tried to order some reloading supplies from them last week. It does suck that a TN company won't ship to TN.
  8. Received from state Sen. Mark Geen. A stand up guy. I voted for him last election, and plan on doing the same in the future. Sir I assure you I will support all legislation to protect our second amendment rights. I firmly believe the second amendment was written as the final checks and balances on the government. It's authors had just a few years before used their weapons to overthrow a tyrannical government. Their intent is clear. There should be no limitations. Thanks, Mark
  9. I wish more places would limit ammo sales, as I have been suspecting that most of it is being bought up by people to resell.
  10. Sent. Also sent an email to my state senator, asking him to support the bill if it passes the house.
  11. Sadness.... Oh well, I still want to try that 30s.
  12. You can pick up a Savage Hog Hunter in 308 for about $450 at most of the big sporting good stores. Synthetic stock, free float barrel, accu-trigger, threaded barrel, and comes with iron sights for backup. A great entry level rifle for your intended uses. Especially at that price point.
  13. Lived in the city and westchester county for a few years. I don't miss that place at all. But it is a great example of what even a little compromise on your freedoms will lead to. "30 rounds are evil, nobody needs that many bullets to hunt deer. 10 is a sane number....."
  14. Also, spread the link on Facebook / twitter, etc!
  15. I love my crossbreed. If you don't mind a slight cosmetic blemish to get a great price, check out www.crossbreedseconds.com
  16. I would be interested in a 30s, for a little more firepower than my XDs. Hopefully that's not Glocks big news though...
  17. Also at exit 1. We mostly go to golden pond range out at LBL. It's pretty close to the same drive as MCSC from here. And we can shoot steel. I would recommend trying to either get out there during the week, or early on the weekends. It's also not usually too bad Sunday evenings. I'm really looking forward to that indoor range being built. I'm curious if anyone knows anything about Clarksville Indoor Range & Threat Reduction Academy ? http://www.clarksvillerange.com/
  18. Well done. Already a subscriber on YouTube. Keep the Saiga 12 tech videos coming.
  19. I had a lot of troubles with my gen 4 19 when I first got it. Make sure you have the 30274 ejector installed. (The number is printed on the side). After getting the new ejector, a new recoil spring assy, and the failure resistant extractor kit, the gun shoots like a champ. It's now one of my favorite pistols.
  20. Double post
  21. I have some colt carbine length handguards. Lightly used.
  22. Welcome, from another transplanted Hoosier. Go Irish!
  23. Most of us in the area use either MCSC, or golden pond target range. Here's how to get to it. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&q=36.786600,-88.030698%20%28Land%20Between%20the%20Lakes%20National%20Recreation%20Area,%20US-68,%20Cadiz,%20KY%20%2042211,%20United%20States%29
  24. Merry Christmas to all of you and yours!
