Until they dig some more up over in Russia or Eastern Europe to import there ain't no $100 (or less) M44's. That supply is dried up for now. 91/30's were unavailable for most of the summer until more were imported at the nice price - that being $80 or so for C&R holders, $129 more or less for the rest of us. If you're lucky, like I was at a gunshow a few weeks ago, you'll find them for a lot less that $229 from people walking around.

My understanding is that .380 hollow points don't expand much at all and actually have less penetration than FMJ's. In something like a .380 which is not exactly "powerful" penetration is key. Google around for "380 hollow point". There are some tests out there on the Interweb thing.

Don't have a P238 myself but have you tried a different brand of FMJ? I know it's hard to find a variety but... So far my LCP cycles Fiocchi and Prvi Partisan flawlessly, about 250-275 rounds now. That's all I have to offer. As far as hollow-points go, I wouldn't fool with them in a .380. They have no penetration and very little expansion.

I could give a about Tiger Woods. If this is his downfall, then so be it. It's about time. When the true story comes out let me know. Then I might be interested.
