It's really a neat little pistol gun. The first handgun I ever shot was my Mom's original Bearcat (that she still has and won't let me near). Great little gun for backpacking, camping or whatnot. It really is the ultimate plinker. A certain Sistema 1911 commanded by SUNTZU that you and several others of us know was put through it's paces as well. That is a sweet gun.

Depending on where you take the class, sometimes guns are provided, and they are often .22's. Might want to check on that.

Until they dig some more up over in Russia or Eastern Europe to import there ain't no $100 (or less) M44's. That supply is dried up for now. 91/30's were unavailable for most of the summer until more were imported at the nice price - that being $80 or so for C&R holders, $129 more or less for the rest of us. If you're lucky, like I was at a gunshow a few weeks ago, you'll find them for a lot less that $229 from people walking around.

I really have no opinion on the guy. I could just care less and rapidly grew tired of all the Tiger hero worship. He plays golf. Whooptie-doo.
