One of my all time favorite pistols is a Keltec. The P32 is a fine little pocket pistol. I also had a PF-9 that was a literal pain to shoot I’m truly mean PAINFUL! It was too light to be a 9mm.

Man, loved my FNS9. But when I started reading that it was having issues, I moved it for a Glock 45 Gen 5 and never looked back.

The tax on SBRs and suppressors will be reduced from $200 to $0, once sign by Trump and the effective date for the legislation arrives. However all the paperwork, fingerprinting, and wait while The ATF, does their thing, still remains in effect. That could take as long as 3 weeks or 18 months. And I’m hearing DOGE and the ATF are about to announce changes in the way they are doing things at ATF. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. Personally, I’d wait and see if the lawsuits filed by GOA, NRA, and other 2A alphabet groups are successful in fracturing the NFA before I would buy anything.

The Taurus would be a good starter. I’ve owned one for 7 or 8 years. Not had any issues with it. But it’s not a pistol I carry. If you wanted to step up, a used police trade-in pistol might be the answer for just a little more money.

The Senate Republicans have, in at least two instances, ignored the Senate Parliamentarian and placed back into the BBB two pieces of legislation. One bans the Feds from paying for transgender reassignment and the other bans federal funded health car for illegal immigrants. But they can’t put the original language for the HPA and the SHORT Act in… I guess a reach around is all we get, since we get to save $200 per NFA item. Just make sure you register with the Federal Government or it’s 10 years in jail or a bullet.

You aren’t wrong. Our state Republican legislature leadership could give a rats a$$ about the 2nd Amendment. Honestly the Republicans nationwide treat 2A voters like the Democrats treat the African American voters. They talk a good game come election time, but never act when it counts. They KNOW come election time, they’ll get our votes. Until they don’t.

This is what I think, to be honest. At least a couple of of Suppressor company were caught trying to quash the HPA in the House Reconciliation bill. One of them happens to be in John Thune’s state. Wouldn’t be a bit surprised that a “ campaign donation” was made to him and others. I also won’t be surprised if Mrs. MacDonough is fired after this travesty is signed into legislation. That’s of course, it gets enough Republicans votes. The non-partisan CBO says it’s going to increase the national debt by 3.3 Trillion by the year 2035. Some budget hawks are not happy and the margin is razor thin. I will not cry if it doesn’t pass.
