Personally, I'd go w/ Del-Ton. Not becuase they are necessarily better than Model 1, but because there are more knowns dealing w/ them. You KNOW when to expect your Del-Ton order to ship, you KNOW that they put together good kits, and you KNOW they have great customer service. Being that your wait time w/ Model 1 is unknown, the fact you haven't heard as much overwhelmingly good stuff about Model 1 as you have Del-Ton would be more than enough to make my mind up. EDIT: Well, you found out your wait time while I was typing an answer for you... oh well!

Dresden? Berlin? It's a different kind of war, it's going to be fought a different way. As for the "Keystroke Guevera" remark, that was equating Che as being a revolutionary, not as a communist. I was referencing that you seem to preach change constantly, but your only devotion to your ideals is to pump out rant after rant online, not through real world actions. That's not an out and out insult, just how it looks from where I'm sitting.

Too bad Applebee's pretty much sucked BEFORE they made this decision

Blind patriotism? For trusting the intelligence agencies to do their jobs that they've been doing since long before you were born? Hey, if you've got a better idea in how to gather intel and fight the spread of Islamic extremism I, and surely many others, would LOVE to hear it. Hey, I'll be the first to admit are intel is not perfect, but what else do we have to work with? I don't think your criticism of these agencies is out of line, but I have yet to hear you offer any solutions to improving the way they work... I'm sure you've spent enough time on the inside of these agencies to be able to come to the logical conclusion that they are full of idiots... This is real life, not the movies. We don't have a Jack Bauer or a Jack Ryan to figure out exactly where the bomb is at the last moment becuase they recognized an obscure noise in the back ground of the ransom video the terrorists mailed them... I'm sorry you feel that way about your country. I too find the current political climate troubling, but I don't think it's as dire as you paint it. I, nor anyone I know, has yet to have the jack booted thugs show up and confiscate their weapons and take them to a re-education camp to get a frontal lobotomy. Last I checked, their is another Presidential election scheduled for 2012. Be there, be heard... or you can sit at home reading your copy of Apathy Monthly and refining the "Keystroke Guevera" persona.

Pretty sure Obama's not calling those shots, chief. I'll trust the intel from our guys in the military, NSA, and CIA to know who to take where, when, and why. Their intel may not be perfect 100% of the time, but it's certainly better than mine or yours. Well, I'm an American citizen, not an enemy combatant or resident of a country that harbors terrorists.

You carry a gun, but you've never been shot, right? Besides, I played water polo a couple of times... if that's not simulated drowning, I don't know what is...

SO good! Originally a limited edition, but just far too tasty for Spoetzl to take out of the line up My list, in no particular order as their rank changes w/ seasons and mood: 1. Shiner Bock 2. Shiner Bohemian Black 3. Red Hook ESB 4. Flying Dog Woody Creek White 5. Pretty much anything Rouge puts out.

As long as it isn't the de-clawed "oh my god, don't let the cat outside!" variety, I'll let you get away with it. We've got 3 dogs, and I wasn't to psyched when my girlfriend brought home a cat, but we WERE having a mouse problem, so I didn't argue. He turned out to be a pretty awesome cat. He comes and goes as he pleases and I haven't seen a mouse since... well, an alive one anyway. He likes to disembowel them and leave them on our doorstep. One time he killed what looked to be an entire family of mice. 2 big ones, 3 small ones, and they were all perfectly alligned and laying on their backs on our doorstep. He's a murderous bastard, I never should have let him watch American Psycho and Dexter...

Any impressions to share on the RFB?

From what I gather, yes they do. Starting pay in Clarksville is a little lower than Nashville, but hey, get your foot in the door and work a few years and you can lateral anywhere you like.

Nice nurse's uniform, guy. These are OR scrubs. O R they?
-
I dont know if you meant for that to sound as if you were considering an LEO job in Nashville or not but, as a heads up Clarksville PD is hiring too. They post an ad on craigslist every few weeks.

Controversy over Memphis-area Burger King "Global Warming is Baloney" signs
poak replied to a topic in General Chat
I wouldn't say it's a scam, more that it's misrepresented scientific data. "Global Warming" is a warming trend in the earth's natural fluctuation of temperatures... I mean, the earth has seen what, 7 Ice Ages? All waaaaaaay before man had the capability or technology to impact climate... Sometimes it's hotter, sometimes it's cooler, sometimes it's wetter, sometimes it's drier. Playing with the parameters in which you look at a given amount of data can suggest whatever results a researcher pleases... If you looked at a timeline of what I ate between 12:30 and 12:45 today, you'd see that for 10 of those minutes I was eating shrimp pasta... therefore, using the same junk stats "Global Warming" is based on, by analyzing that mere 15 minutes of my 25 year life span, you could come to the conclusion that I eat shrimp pasta 66% of the time... which I can assure you isn't true. Statistics are a funny thing, ya know? -
Cool, nice link. On a recent excursion to Costco, I found a small solar array sitting on their shelves. I think the price was $300... have no idea what kind of output the thing gave.
