I considered some of the EGO stuff but decided I'd much rather have one system that stretches further than multiple specialized systems.

Well, I've been messing with the Pole Saw attachment over the previous week, nothing quite considered "work" up to this point but so far all fun. I bet I've put 30 minutes or so on the battery (of course, a cut here, a cut there, etc) and the battery still shows three of four bars. What that tells me is that the battery would outlast me in terms of energy, in other words it could charge while I take a break. I haven't full blown used the trimmer yet, in other words I haven't weed-eated my entire ditch line. But I am already so impressed with it that I'm selling the Stihl. I think a single 8.0 Ah battery will get me through the entire job, but even if it doesn't I think I still prefer it. The test areas I've hit with it so far impressed me, and I haven't put a quality string on it yet. This is what I've been using for a few years now, I'm very impressed but be careful around your house/decking/landscaping as it will eat through some lattice. I'm anxious to see what this stuff will do in the ditch. I'm honestly thinking of picking up the chainsaw bundle at some point, the 12.0 Ah battery that comes with it would be perfect for both the trimmer and blower. I am at this point surprised Milwaukee hasn't came out with a backpack blower, maybe one that takes two batteries if needed. All I really need it for is the deck, sidewalk, and the road after weed-eating. I'm sure it (the currently available one) would handle all of those combined and a bit more.

I did something and went a completely different direction last night. I went and purchased the M18 FUEL 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless String Trimmer with QUIK-LOK Attachment Capability and 8.0 Ah Battery. I've had quite a few of their M12 tools over the years and loved them, this is my first M18 purchase. Like @10-Ring, I agree that an oscillating multi tool is a wonderful purchase. I've had the M12 version for a few years and it's useful for all sorts of things, although blades/attachments can be expensive depending on what you get. Milwaukee is having an awesome sale right now where certain products get you a free battery, etc. However, folks in the know use a "hack" if that's what you want to call it. Example, I paid $299 for the above purchase, it comes with an 8.0 Ah battery but the promo gives you an additional 5.0 Ah battery with a sticker price of $149. The way it rings up on the receipt is that the trimmer is $199 and the battery has a "max refund value" of $99. Says that clear on the receipt. So sometime I'll swing in and return the 5.0 Ah battery. Brings the trimmer, 8.0 battery, and charger to $199.00 plus tax. I'll eventually get the pole saw for it as it would be great for trimming some limbs around the house. I did this to replace my Stihl. While a great gas trimmer, think I'll try this electric one for the summer. I paid $350 for the Stihl a few years back and think I've already found a buyer (or two, or three) on FaceBook for $300 even. I also have a cheap Walmart brand 20v leaf blower. I'll end up trying to sell it as well for whatever bills someone gives me. I think I'll do the "hack" and replace it as well. Tool ends up being less than $100. At some point I will need more batteries though so at some point I will probably have to keep one of the 5.0 Ah or buy one of the larger ones outright. I saw all of this to say I think I've decided my first purchase will be an M18 cordless saw. Even if I went out today and replaced every board on my deck, that's only 42 boards. In other words, it will be generally light use as I'm not making money cutting wood. Then I'll later get a miter saw for playing with. But it's summer and I gotta get more M18 toys.

I think I've definitely decided to get a dual bevel sliding, I guess the main decision is which brand and at what price point.

I don't own any saws. I'm sorta ashamed to admit that, but I'm in the process of trying to fix that. I'm thinking maybe a miter saw would give the most versatile use and I don't mind spending the money, even if new. I don't foresee on the short term cutting plywood or sheets so I'm not really in need of a table saw on the short term. I'm thinking that I may replace the boards on my deck as they could definitely need it. I may keep those boards and pick the good ones/lengths of the good ones and build some various garden boxes and/or shelves for my workshop. Long term I'd like to increase my capabilities with more purchases. I'm currently leaning towards the following: Dewalt 779 Dual Bevel Compound Sliding Miter Saw I honestly don't know whether or not I need dual bevel or the sliding feature, but the "base" single bevel saw is in the $250 range so I figure buying it now might prevent an "upgrade purchase" a few years from now. However, I'm open to any and all advice. I'm probably stuck at the $399 price point, but if you can convince me that there is a better purchase for even less money that's good too. A coworker is a huge Rigid fan, which I know they make good stuff but when you look at the compatible products online it seems like the Dewalt typically gets 10x the reviews.

I've never shot it, I don't think it's ever been fired but if it has it is like new in box with all original accessories. I bought it because I thought I was going to love it but haven't shot it as it doesn't take Glock magazines, doesn't fit Glock compatible holsters, and doesn't have Glock stamped on the slide. I'll try and throw up some quality photos tonight but it is like new. Sold Pending Meet

I’m hopefully average at best regarding mechanic skills/knowledge. I’ve done some repairs over the years many people wouldn’t but at the same time many potential repairs daunt me. That said, I recommend everyone stick one of these in their vehicles. I have one in each of ours. Fixd These are great. It’s on par with any other ODBII scammer I imagine but it is Bluetooth. I can scan my battery from within my house (as long as I’m close enough to the vehicle of course). You can take battery voltage and then compare it to the voltage after you start the vehicle. This will tell you if your alternator is charging. This is more of a long term plan, there are of course much faster ways to diagnose your short term problem. Fixd will also help you keep up on maintenance.

I purchased these to basically test the waters for replacing my Sonos system. There are a lot of really, really neat things about these but overall I just found that i prefer the Sonos system I'm already heavily invested in. I'd prefer to sell all of them as a bundle but if not, at least keep the Mini's together as their own bundle. $425 for everything shipped. Open to local trades. Open to offers. Please be familiar with these items, the fact that they are Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth, and generally what they can be used for/cannot be used for before purchasing. Your results may vary and are dependent upon your home network and item placement. The "HomePod" is now no longer made and actually sells for just as much or more than it did originally. This one is a bit dirty but I believe can be wiped down with a damp cloth and probably cleaned up pretty well. Shows minor wear/tear overall but works great. Will be factory reset before shipping. The "HomePod Mini" are really neat devices and overall in very nice shape. Will be factory reset before shipping. Boxes included but do show some wear/tear from storage.

It is exactly this device and this cover. In perfect working order and suburb shape, upgrading only because I wanted a new one. The 10th gen was the last to have cellular built in, so I'm forgoing that when upgrading to the 11th gen. I hope I don't regret "letting go" of cellular because I may be buying it back from you if I do. Sidenote: For anyone unaware, "built in cellular" is a free thing on this device. Obviously you aren't using it to really browse the web or anything, but it's extremely useful for two different reasons. You can download books on cellular, and it will sync your place over cellular. I'll include a quality charging cable and brick, maybe even multiples. Local or shipped for $200.00.
