Baldwin shoots two on movie set, accidental misfire???
GlockSpock replied to TennesseeCamper's topic in General Chat
The person you describe would likely be called the grip. That is likely who lived but was injured. I believe the deceased is the lady in the poof jacket with headphones on. -
These are 100% brand new, not opened. I received with a bundle but I already have equivalents. This should be a nice "bundle" for someone interested in expanding their off camera flash experience. Glow HexaPop 24" Portable Softbox Glow Handheld Grip S-Type Bracket Bowens $90.00 Shipped for Both The softbox is typically listed at closer to $150, as seen here: https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B00G1WO5FM However, it seems to be under $100 for about a year now, so I suppose that's the price it settled at. So, with gear like this, the softbox will mount to the grip/bracket via what is called a bowens mount. This particular bracket has a molded handgrip into it which will be fine for this size softbox, it just means you'd have to have someone holding it. It also will mount to a lightstand. With that being said, it doesn't seem this particular bracket gets the best reviews. It will be ok for a "starter" but seriously a Godox branded Bowens Mount will treat you much better. Another word on Bowens mounts. The more expensive studio strobes will oftentimes have a Bowens mount built into it. In other words, if you buy an expensive enough strobe, you can mount a softbox directly to it. However, over recent years since battery powered flashes/strobes have become more prevalent, mounts such as these have hit the market so you can take a typical Speedlite (in my case a Flashpoint/Godox AD200) and mount it in the mount. Then the mount mounts to a light modifier, such as a softbox and typically a light stand too.

I read the first book but never took it any further. I never watched the old movie but am excited to see this movie. The previews made it look spectacular.

Any experience with Michelin Cross Climate 2?

I rather like Defenders myself but was almost steered towards the Premier line. -
This is a wireless flash to be used with the Flashpoint/Godox system. In a nutshell, it won't really do much unless you have a wireless trigger. Flashpoint is an Adorama branded Godox. This flash system is rather impressive and a drastic improvement over AA battery based flashes from even a few years ago. If you already have a trigger for this then you are good to go, if not you'd need to buy a trigger for your specific camera system. Includes everything in the photos. Sidenote, the barndoor grid has a slight bend in the honeycomb, this happened the first day I got it and I didn't realize how malleable the metal was. Unit is used but battery still shows excellent battery life. Shows minor wear but only used in home/studio settings and it's never been dropped/knocked over. Including a brand new video LED head (provides constant light). Adorama lists this setup (barndoor kit with video LED head too) for $327. $280 Shipped but open to any trades of any kind Here is the product on Adorama: https://www.adorama.com/fplfev200.html

Agreed. Let's all quarantine the COVID posts in the COVID thread.

I think @E4 No More is a physician himself so I imagine he is quite used to seeking medical research for giving patients advice.

Well...I was just checking .

Meaning that you believe it and it is crazy or that it is crazy that anyone would believe it?

It sorta...lubes things up inside you.

I believe you, but I think it is mixed 50/50 with Crisco.

Having something that hopefully will help prevent serious COVID infections, especially for people that might trust it but are vaccine hesitant, is a very good thing. But the internet told me it is rebranded Ivermectin.
-
Well...first off, look at their site: https://vaers.hhs.gov/ Look at 2. If you wanted to, you could report an "adverse effect" after receiving a vaccine. You could stub your toe on the way out of the clinic but that doesn't mean the vaccine caused it. But guess what, if 35% of people that get a vaccine stub their toe, maybe that means it affects their depth perception. I think I queried the data right on the site. After selecting vaccines for COVID-19, theoretically data for all three of them being used in the US would show up. Myocarditis shows up in 6 different places on the list, the "biggest" of the listings is 1,647. Pericarditis shows up 4 different places, the "biggest" of the listings is 1,082. 61 cases of hip fracture show up, and 8 cases of hip surgery. Heck, maybe we could just give the vaccines to people that need hip replacement, apparently it takes care of it for them. I'm not saying that the data isn't important, but seriously, query this and look through the list yourself. It's telling.

In other words, if 100,000 people actually 100% died from the vaccine, what is that in comparison to the actual virus? People Died/People Vaccinated People Died/Cases of COVID
