Love that .22 my brother-in-law has one and i love to shoot it. Always wanted one but never got the chance.

Prayers and hang in there. It takes time to get over it but you'll be fine. Going to be very sore and tender for a while. I had a triple bypass a little over a year ago. Hope you have a good nursing crew like I did.

I like it. I think clear finish would be perfect to show off the beautiful grain of the wood.

I like Colt #2 also. But I'm old and I like wooden grips and stocks.

As I am not a gunsmith and you have checked everything out I would send it to Charter or find a local gunsmith. Check their web page as to warranty.

Check the things Wheelgunner stated. Also do you know when it was made? Charter was sold in the 80's and for about 10 years their product was not up to par from what I have read. It was bought back by the original owners and they now produce good guns again. I have carried one for over 40 years with no problems and I cannot count high enough to know how many rounds it has fired. .
