    My Tuff M & P

    I love "tuff" guns.
  3. What's not to love about Waffle House?
  4. Meh
  5. I love Tennessee, but the people where I live can't drive and I hate the liquor, beer, wine, tobacco laws...
  6. Agreed.
  7. Some tattoo's are obviously stereotyped, and stereotypes generally have some truth behind them. I don't personally like tattoo's, but I don't have a problem with people who do. With that being said, when I see people who have tattoos which can't be covered up, I do wonder what they wanted to do with their life when they got it. Doing things like that will always have an affect on your carreer and your place in society.

    School Fees?

My mother spent 2 months in Bristol with my grandparents this summer. She left in the middle of May and came back a couple weeks ago. She leaves for work around 7 am and gets home before 5 pm most days and that is with a 45 minute drive. Not to mention she has every holiday off. I work 55 hours a week, every week, with the exception of my three weeks vacation. I work every holiday and make a little more than most teachers, I chose my profession and am not crying about it, but it's all about time management and what all the hard work is going to get you.
  9. Nobody visits Atl because of the Olympics, the point about atlanta they built the Stadium, then Ted Turner bought it, now the Braves play in it, and people from all around come to see the Braves. People hang out everyday in the Olympic Park, get married and have receptions there too. Money was hardly wasted there. Look at Park City, Utah, they were part of the winter Olympics in 2002 (Salt Lake City), I'm pretty sure they are doing very well since, I've ski'd there since. A jolt of cash flow rarely hurts a society (especially in economic times such as these), and if you look at almost, if not all, of the cities who have hosted the olympics in the past 20 years, I doubt that they are doing bad because of the Olympics.
  10. The money wasted on the games? Think of the billions of dollars (or £) that are going into the British economy due to merchandise sales, advertising, travel, hotel accommodations, food, new venues, tourism, et cetera. There is a reason cities fight for these games. Ted Turner bought the Olympic stadium and now the braves play in Turner field, I don't know how that is a loss for ATL.

    School Fees?

Why don't you add... Do you have 2-3 months in the summer off? My mother is a teacher, she has 2 masters and started corse work for her doctorate. Which she got the majority paid for by the state. If she worked the extra two months and got paid for those months she would make around $80k a year. After working for 20 years in finance she doesn't whine about much anymore, especially not the money she is given each year to go buy school supplies. I get tired of hearing teachers cry about what they get paid, but they don't have much to say when they have June and July off.
  12. Insurance. You probably won't get as much as you want, but you'll get something and a hard lesson learned. Good luck catching them.
  13. Your brother needs to find a new girlfriend.
  14. That has not been the case with any of my iPhones.
  15. You can put the phone in airplane mode, then its a matter of seconds before you could dial 911.

    Stop it!

You should go drop him off in the ghetto with a flintlock...
  17. The problem with schools in the U.S. is that they take responsibility away from the students, and then when they get to college they have free reign over what to do and what not to do. I see this as a major problem with schools telling students what they can wear and what they can do. Also, why shouldn't a student be able to use their phone in between class or at lunch, as long as they are not late or causing a major disruption (who do they have to talk to though, simce most of their friends are in school as well). I see no problems with a student carrying a phone in their backpack as long as it does not cause a disruption to the learning environment. You have 7 years to teach your child that when it is learning time it is learning time, otherwise when they get to college they will be sitting in an auditorium with 300 other students and a professor who doesn't care whether or not they are on their cell phone on facebook or furthermore whether they pass or fail the class.
  18. Im excited about the location. Y'all make sure to come by the donelson pike Waffle House for breakfast everyday. Stop in and say hello, both managers are gun guys as well as some of the regulars...
  19. The Auburn fans are the better ones... Anyways, I would recommend having a tornado bag with enough stuff to survive and possibly protect what's left for a few days should you ever be so unfortunate. After living in Alabama for a while and through A LOT of tornado warnings and seeing what happened to Tuscaloosa, I decided it just made sense to have a bag made just in case.
  20. Should be paying attention to what the UN is doing as well...
  21. Lately I have been going to the range at least once a week and I find myself leaving guns at home because I honestly don't have $100 or more a week to blow on ammo for all my guns. Sooooo if I want to start reloading, which I have never spent time thinking about, nor do I know anything about, but if Lee has varying quality, what companies have outstanding quality and value? Where are the best places to order these things? If I'm going to be using it for years to come, I might as well get something higher quality.
  22. You really do need to pick which one you like best. Shoot both and pick the one you like best. After handling both I don't think you will have trouble picking.
  23. Why? The 2022 has a decocker and. 10lb DA trigger pull just like most other Sig handguns.
  24. I owned a 2022 in 9mm and it was a great gun. I traded mine and some cash for a 226 and then I bought another 2022 in 40. I like my 226 more, but for $400 you can't go wrong. Academy usually keeps them in stock for $379-399, but that is the base model with 1 mag.
