  1. I just bought his book last week, but haven't cracked it open yet
  2. They definitely spend a lot of time with voice coaches... My uncle does this stuff at UT.
  3. That's pretty nice. I always wanted a RTT, but never really had the need.
  4. This is my old truck, it started as a bone stock 2000 Discovery. http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc399/alleyre86/Discovery/DSCN0891.jpg Sorry for the street pics, I didn't wheel it much in the end and sold it to fund other vehicular projects... I do miss it.
  5. Let's see if this works... This was my project daily driver for over ten years.   http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc399/alleyre86/Discovery/DSCN0892.jpg   http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc399/alleyre86/Discovery/DSCN0891.jpg
  6. No, you can get the SRT, but you have to get the M11 or MK25 to get the corrosion resistant internals... Out of all my pistols I have no corrosion internally, so I would say that it's not really necessary... Unless I decide to go play Navy seal.
  7. Of course! I'm a big sig fan, and love it, but at the end of the day it's a well marketed 229. You have to decide if an extra $130 is justifiable... In my case, I have several nice Sig's and it fits nicely into my collection.
  8. I just bought an M11-A1... So that's obviously my choice
  9. Blountville is in North East Tn, right on the state line... Not south of Knoxville. My family has known Ramsey for a long time, but I can honestly say I would love to be more involved in politics up here and if I had a chance, run for office.

    handgun addict

I have the same problem, but like Runco, I never get rid of them... There are 3 more guns on my list to purchase this year, and who knows what next year will bring (hopefully another promotion!).
  11. I've shot plenty of glocks, but I own plenty of Sig's. the glock is an ugly, great working pistol that is accurate and has a bad grip angle, the sig cost more and is the best feeling pistol I've held. If you like the angle of the grip and the way it shoots, then why but anything else? Like I said, it's a great gun, but there are others. If you want some variety, get a sig, if you don't, buy more glocks... :). Just trying to stir the pot a little...
  12. . They will just start robbing people...
  13. I have several Sig's and do nothing special but keep them clean and lubricated and have no trouble out of any of them
  14. Could be an illegal getting guns to Mexico...

    Sig P227 .45

I'm with you... I'm thinking SAS.  Looks like they will ship in March.
  16. My fiance is from Fayetteville, right down the road from where they are filming in Senoia.  It's pretty cool to see the town and say, "Ive been there!"

    Sig P227 .45

I'll be getting one, and then I will be saving for the MPX...
  18. I believe Mec-Gar made Sigs factory mags, but I always just use the factory mags.  Eventually they will become available again.
  19. Mandatory service in military, then you keep your issue weapon. I didn't watch the video, but there was one where a guy had his gun, his fathers gun, and his grandfather's gun. They also have shooting days where ammo is provided I believe.
  20. I think if there is no ban on Assault Weapons then we will see a flood of guns hit the market from manufacturers who are running full speed to produce eligible inventory, plus those who spent money they didn't have... I wish I could find 9mm ammo, but atleast I can find 45.
  21. I dislike Notre Dame just as much as I dislike Alabama. The thing I really hate is all the teams like Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Alabama who win a few games and ride their past. Notre Dame didn't even deserve to be in the same stadium as Bama. I rooted for Alabama because they will bring the championship back to the state of Alabama and bring a lot of money to the SEC. Auburn gets a piece of the pie. That's how these conference things work and our line of consecutive championships is continued. We all know what the world is about these days... $$$. Is it right, no, but it is what it is. This discussion, and the comment you quoted, has become an SEC against Notre Dame argument. I graduated from Auburn, from a program that is in NASAs top five for hiring. Auburn may not be as good as Notre Dame academically, but I would be willing to put my degree up against yours. I don't want to lose any possible friends, so lets get this back on topic to football and leave money and academics out.
  22. Lets be honest, all the SEC players still bring in more money for the programs than the successful ND grads... How much do we make per National Championship we win?
  23. And somehow all those uneducated SEC thugs still make more money... :)
