    Beer on Sundays

I just enjoyed a nice cold one with lunch...
  3. I own 3 Land Rovers at the moment, and have had 4, maybe soon to be five. I love them, but won't lie about the reliability issues. The old ones leak, and need attention. I personally wouldn't buy one unless its from someone like myself who knows them and takes care of them. They are very easy to work on and mine have been pretty good. Once they are sorted they are usually great. Land Rover really progressed in reliability when they made the move to the Jaquar 4.4 engine in 2005/2006. If anyone is ever interested in Land Rover I can answer any questions...
  4. Thanks for the replys, I'll look into these places
  5. My fiancé's car was hit a couple weeks ago and the rear bumper needs to be repainted, any recommendations around Nashville?
  6. Are y'all planning to stay in Knoxville? My family has been in the medical field for a while there. I hope she does well, I know it's not easy!
  7. Some pictures of my old truck I found...
  8. Who sells CZs in the nashville area?

    Savage Model 99

The gun definitely is not for sale... I'm one of those people that really has to not like a gun to ever get rid of it.  I must say, there is something I really like about the looks of this rifle.

    Savage Model 99

He is a great guy, he had the gun sitting in a closet behind a suitcase. I got the impression he had forgotten about it, and he just handed it to me. The gun is in great shape and ill be keeping it for a while... If y'all ever want to go shooting let me know.

    Savage Model 99

It is not drilled and tapped for a scope.  I guess I would like to know what it's worth, where to get ammo and what I should check before I shoot it... I would like to keep it as nice as possible and probably will not shoot it very often.  I'll probably park it next to the Ithaca my dad got when he was 16.
  12. A good friend just gave me a very nice Savage Model 99 in 250-3000... I know nothing about the rifle except that the serial dates it around 1950.  Tell me more please :)
  13. Very sad... That gentleman's life will never be the same.
  14. The press conference said there was an explosion at JFK Library, I got the impression it was an attack.
  15. Torque is what he needs. For towing and getting up hills you should be concentrating on torque.
  16. I would probably be in for 1, depends on timing.
  17. Definitely totaled, but it definitely did its job... I hope another Rover is in your future!
  18.   I would say it is probably totaled.  It has an integrated body-frame and if the body is tweaked it's not a good sign.  Land Rover's are definitely expensive, but my number one reason for driving them is definitely the piece of mind I get, I have always felt that there is no other vehicle I would rather be in when in dangerous situations.   My fiance was rear ended this evening, the guy was also looking at his phone.  There was no real noticeable damage, so when the officer arrived she said she couldn't see anything.  He told her, "if there's no damage, there's no wreck." He acted like it was a problem that he had to respond and act like it was an issue that he had to right a report.  When I looked at it her rear bumper is definitely scratched up, and the bumper will need to be painted, especially since it only has 8k miles. It is now no wonder why traffic is so bad in Nashville.  On my way home from work last night I witnessed a lady passing someone using the median, and have witnessed people flying down the median on Bell Rd. with their hazards on.
  19. That is some beautiful land. Congrats!
  20. Glad you're okay. I am a huge Land Rover fan (own several) and would like to put my fiancé in a newer one once her passat is paid off... They really are tanks.

    New Sig Sauer M11A1!

The sticker would come off eventually anyways unless its a safe queen...
  22. How much are those lots going for?
  23. I like Mt Juliet and Hendersonville and hopefully will be moving to one of those areas soon... My fiancé and I would have loved to move, but couldn't find an affordable house to rent and we had a pretty good budget, and with my job, buying is not an option at this point. Stay out of Antioch and the surrounding areas.
