  1. Damn it Chuck. Ive been hitting the mason jar since the kids went to sleep and was just getting spooled up for a good old fashioned online, keyboard warrior #### slinging.
  2. I wouldnt say that. Its just that your first post in the community was a for sale ad that violated the rules laid out by the admin here. Some of us have been here a long time, and most of us have made long term friends here. This is a really great community. I have had several members here over to my house for range days and other stuff. But a long time member here mentioned that your for sale post violated the rules that you agreed to when you signed up and you immediately turned sarcastic and defensive. Not a great way to build a good reputation as someone who is easy to get along with.
  3. I ended up with a new angle grinder courtesy of a spot and steal thief 2 years ago. I had my tree service truck parked beside the driveway and my 3 of my saws were locked in the saw rack on the headache rack behind the cab. He apparently showed up to cut the cable and didnt realize my Catahoula could jump onto the flatbed. I found blood in the bed and a nice dewalt grinder with a full battery. Catahoula came home the next morning with lots of blood, none of it hers. Asshole got what he deserved
  4. I was the Sgt at Arms for an MC for a few years and I stayed in a bar fight pretty much every weekend for about 2 years straight. I got my fill of it. Now Ill do everything in my power to walk away. Put me in a corner and something bad is gonna happen though.
  5. Suggested retail on the SBL is $1399. So prices are just gonna continue to climb.
  6. You are 100% correct, but I will say there are some people who basically walk around begging for an ass whipping. The fact that an altercation is almost guaranteed to send both parties to jail has had the unfortunate side effect of making people way to comfortable with being bullies and douchebags on a very regular basis with little fear of repercussions.

    Weight Loss

For me, and what Ive seen, weight loss or gain comes at the table, but fitness and physical ability comes from activity, whether it be workouts or manual labor. I run between 230 and 250. I do very little "dedicated" exercises, but both of my jobs keep me active. At the plant i average 9-10 miles a day walking at a fast pace 5 days a week and on weekends I do a lot of gaff climbing and heavy lifting, mostly on ridges and embankments for tree work. I will bulk up in the winter and slim down in the summer but Im not a heavy eater. Breakfast is normally a bottle of whole milk, skip lunch and then eat a 1800-2000 calorie supper of beans, taters, chops, and garden veggies. Always finish eating and give it 3 hours before bed time. So far its kept me healthy enough.
  8. We have 3 German Shepadoodle puppies for sale. They are 11 weeks on Dec. 22nd, first two rounds of shots and they have been wormed twice. Very fluffy and should be hypoallergenic and non-shedding. 40-50 lbs full grown. Extremely sweet and well socialized, they have spent a lot of time in and out of the house around our kids, neighbors, livestock, other dogs and cats. Ready for their forever homes. $500 in Oliver Springs, TN. We have two girls, a black and white and a brindle, and one boy who is black and white. Any questions just ask. Pictures of mom and dad below.
  9. Im looking for .30-06 factory ammo and reloading supplies like brass, bullets, powder, dies, etc. Prefer to stay close to Oak Ridge, Knoxville area.
  10. I ended up with a Browning 1886 SRC. I thought i really wanted the 95, but you (i think it was you) were correct and the 1886 handles better. The 95 is also fancier than what im comfortable with in the woods while the browning src has a tiny bit if wear that makes it fit like a broken in boot.
  11. I got two kids. But I don't have a Winchester high wall..... lol
  12. Its legitimately the nicest firearm I have ever owned. Way to nice for me to take in the deer woods.
  13. When you gonna come out here and do some forging with me? Shops open anytime you wanna come by and beat some steel together. Maybe I can learn a few things
  14. Had someone ask and forgot to mention. Brass is mixed headstamp, and is not prepped. Some if deprimed, some is not. It should be looked at as range pickup brass.
  15. 200+ pieces of once fired .308 brass. Bought this years ago at a gun show and never touched it. Hornady 150 grain SST bullets, unopened pack of 100. Make me a reasonable offer, pay through paypal and shipping is on me.
  16. No, Ive stayed on the rigging line my whole time there. I have helped the process fabrication guys a few Fridays in the trailer shop but not during production
  17. I work at Malibu boats. Started out as an engine setter on the rigging line 6 years ago. I'm a team lead over Assembly 1 now, but can do any breakdown on the line, plumbing the boat, wiring harness, dash install, etc. On my "off" time I run my own tree service. We do a lot of danger close trees to houses and other valuables.
  18. Yeah, I know. Its just to close to Christmas to be dropping a ton of money on another rifle so I gotta sell one to buy one to keep the Missus happy Really? I have never handled a 95, and this is my first 86. My 94 was a probably the handiest little lever gun Ive owned but I like oddball stuff and always have. I found a Winchester 1895 High Grade engraved in .30-06 and Im kinda drawn to fancy guns so I took a liking to it. I never considered it would handle worse than the 86 as I do really love the feel of this one.
  19. I have a NIB, unfired Winchester 1886 24" short rifle, full length magazine chambered in .45-70. Rifle comes in orginal Winchester box with all paperwork, etc. Price includes 100 mixed rounds of .45-70, all factory ammo. Price is $1900 FTF in or around Knoxville/Oak Ridge area. I can add any additional pictures you would like to see. My only trade interest is a Winchester 1895 in .30-06 which is what Im selling this rifle to fund. Thanks
  20. Harveys Pistol and Pawn on Merchants had some night vision last time i was in there.
