  1. I got two kids. But I don't have a Winchester high wall..... lol
  2. Its legitimately the nicest firearm I have ever owned. Way to nice for me to take in the deer woods.
  3. When you gonna come out here and do some forging with me? Shops open anytime you wanna come by and beat some steel together. Maybe I can learn a few things
  4. Had someone ask and forgot to mention. Brass is mixed headstamp, and is not prepped. Some if deprimed, some is not. It should be looked at as range pickup brass.
  5. 200+ pieces of once fired .308 brass. Bought this years ago at a gun show and never touched it. Hornady 150 grain SST bullets, unopened pack of 100. Make me a reasonable offer, pay through paypal and shipping is on me.
  6. No, Ive stayed on the rigging line my whole time there. I have helped the process fabrication guys a few Fridays in the trailer shop but not during production
  7. I work at Malibu boats. Started out as an engine setter on the rigging line 6 years ago. I'm a team lead over Assembly 1 now, but can do any breakdown on the line, plumbing the boat, wiring harness, dash install, etc. On my "off" time I run my own tree service. We do a lot of danger close trees to houses and other valuables.
  8. Yeah, I know. Its just to close to Christmas to be dropping a ton of money on another rifle so I gotta sell one to buy one to keep the Missus happy Really? I have never handled a 95, and this is my first 86. My 94 was a probably the handiest little lever gun Ive owned but I like oddball stuff and always have. I found a Winchester 1895 High Grade engraved in .30-06 and Im kinda drawn to fancy guns so I took a liking to it. I never considered it would handle worse than the 86 as I do really love the feel of this one.
  9. I have a NIB, unfired Winchester 1886 24" short rifle, full length magazine chambered in .45-70. Rifle comes in orginal Winchester box with all paperwork, etc. Price includes 100 mixed rounds of .45-70, all factory ammo. Price is $1900 FTF in or around Knoxville/Oak Ridge area. I can add any additional pictures you would like to see. My only trade interest is a Winchester 1895 in .30-06 which is what Im selling this rifle to fund. Thanks
  10. Harveys Pistol and Pawn on Merchants had some night vision last time i was in there.
  11. I actually am down to 1. He is a sweet little brown and black male. Very sweet natured and active.
  12. So did some trading around and ended up with a bucket list rifle gor me. Winchester 1886 .45-70. 24" barrel, full length mag tube, unfired in the orginal box. I am not much on safe queens so Ive got to decide to either shoot it or sell it off and buy one used that I will shoot. Anyway, wanted to share.
  13. I actually just traded it off. Ended up with a NIB Winchester 1886 45-70
  14. Ill be giving all three of you a shout through PMs here shortly. Id like to observe and talk with all of you about your experience, equipment, etc as well as gain reccomendations on what to buy first, what is necessary and what is just nice to have. My plan is to invest in the equipment now and just buy components as availability and prices normalize in the future.
  15. Looking to buy a .44 magnum chambered lever action. 20" or longer barrel preferred with full length mag tube. Rossi, Winchester, Henry, etc as long as it functions. Budget is $700 or less. Would prefer to do Business within 2 hours of Oak Ridge. Can provide Carry Permit and sign bill of sale as required. Thanks
  16. So this is by far the most knowledgeable base I have to work with. Is there anyone close to Roane County willing to take me under their wing and show me the basics of reloading? I mainly want to reload .44 special/magnum and .45-70. I can lay out the money for a basic kit but dont really even know where to start as far as equipment or consumables go. Id rather have a bit of a guiding hand vs simply buying off of internet reviews and educated guesses.
  17. If you ever head towards Knoxville hit me up.
  18. Perfect condition, Stainless Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum, 4 5/8" barrel length. Unknown round count but condition suggest very low with a light turn ring in the cylinder. $700 face to face local to Knoxville, will consider trades on lever action rifles, other revolvers, whatcha got? I like wood and steel.
  19. I would also entertain trade offers for .44 mag revolvers, lever actions or especially a Ruger .44 Mag carbine.
  20. She had 14 in the litter. Looks like a puppy mill around this place lol
  21. We have a litter of Half Catahoula Leopard/ Half German Shepherd puppies for sale. They are 9 weeks old today, fully weaned, been dewormed twice and have had their first 5 in 1 shot. We have five left, 3 females, 2 males, black and white or black and brown. They will be 40-50 lbs full grown. Great farm dogs, they have been well socalized with my other dogs, kids, family etc. $100 each, picked up in Oliver Springs.
  22. I have a nice Marlin .45-70 lever action. 22" barrel, Skinner express rear sight. Sights have been set at 100 yards with Hornady 325 grain leverevolution. Includes Kodiak sling, XS sights scope mount with hardware, and can include 60 rounds of .45-70 and/or cash money. I mainly want to trade for a single shot .45-70 "buffalo rifle". Something like a Uberti or Pedersoli High Wall, Sharps, etc. Either with a tang sight or the ability to mount one. I will drive anywhere in the state to make the deal work, but I am local to Knoxville.
