Had to purchase a Harris AR15 Adapter (hb5) like the one here: www.harrisbipods.com/hb5.html I need to know which bipods I can use with it. Can the adapter only be used with Harris bipods or can I use another name brand? I need your suggestions please. Would like to stay under $75 if possible. Also for the 30 round mag, what height legs will I need to go with?

I now have a 23 and a 30 and have absolutely fell in love with everything about them. I sold my XDS and now have 2 glocks with more capacity and the balance is awesome. I AM A GLOCK GUY NOW!!!! Believe that!!!

so it is possible to wear some of these muffs and plugs and you can still carry on a conversation but it will mute out the gun shots? That is very interesting.

Not a true fan of the ear muffs style especially when rifle shooting but still want the best hearing protection at a reasonable cost. Anyone have some advice and experience with inner ear canal protection and some costs? Ive tried the cheap squeeze and expanding inner ear canal type and they just seem to lose their volume fairly quickly. Thanks in advance, Newman

They are liars. They plainly stated yesterday on their site that they NO LONGER SOLD FIREARMS. Now they are releasing the statement that they were pausing to look at their policies. What a bunch of crap, blind, crooked talking company.

What would be my best bet for 22lr ammo with the least amount of ftf and fte problems with an AR15 with a 22lr conversion kit? Or does it matter??? (Sorry if this is in the wrong category) Thanks, Newman

Just need clarification: Possible Situtation: Walking out of grocery store, man comes up and asks for some change or a cig or whatever. We do not oblige for whatever reason. Man gets upset and wants to fight. I tell him to back off while assuming a defensive position. Man will not stop and continues to come towards me in a very offensive manner. Scanning the man, he does NOT have a weapon although I am still worried about what they are capable of doing (or maybe I have my kids with me, etc). Can I pull my weapon and tell the man to "stand down" or "stop or I will shoot" or Can I pull out my weapon, warn the man, man doesn't stop and proceed to shoot him or Am I not able to use my weapon at all due to the fact the man is not armed...? I want to discuss this with my wife as well and want to speak intelligently about it. Thanks in advance, Newman

OS - so I should be able to find a scope not made for rimfire rifles that will have the appropriate mounting equipment or will I still have to purchase specific additional mounting equipment? Also, if I get iron sites, do I need to get a "riser" mount or just take the scope off when using the iron sites?

I read a ton of reviews on the DPMS Panther Sportical after we saw it at Walmart for $597. 99% of the reviews were GREAT! "eats any and all ammo." No sights at all. Bare Bare Bare. Thought it would be a great starter AR for me. Have not shot it yet. Just purchased it last night. Also, comes with 2 30rd mags

We have already returned the scope, but I do believe it was originally made for a 22 rifle. Its "clamps" were too narrow to fit on the AR15 rail. Yes, the DPMS has flat rail on top.

Wife purchased me a DPMS Sportical AR15 yesterday and of course it is bare bones, so I want to install a scope on it. Well there in lies the problem, she also purchased a Tasco 4x scope but we both found out it will not fit on the AR15 on the flat rail. I do not know if any scope for that matter will fit on it alone without some type of mounting bracket or riser bracket or...???? Help me please. I am looking for (of course) an inexpensive but desent scope 2-8x or 4-9x that will mount to the DPMS Sportical for $150 or under. What all do I need and is this possible? It worked with my wife! I purchased an XD 9SC and she liked it a lot. Went shooting with her, she loved it even more. It is now her gun and EDC. She had an ROTC and Navy background/history as well which helped!
