  1. I was in a walmart in south dakota. they had a whole liquor aisle. here in mt wine is sold at practicly all gas stations
  2. good info. Thanks guys.
  3. Do any of you guys have a Star BM or BKM? I did a search and found one member say he has a model B. Whats your opinions on these guns? In the past ive seen them at gun shows for around 200. I know prices have gone up since then but im thinking of picking one up next time i come across one.
  4. I found a youtube video of bulletfest near knoxville. The only other info i could find was a forum post that said they dont have bullefest anymore. Does bulletfest still exist and if not why?  Have any of you guys been to it?

Whichever i had ammo for. At this point my AR is just a paper wheight.
  6. Have any of you guys any opinions on them? They sound like a dream to me. whats your thoughts?
  7. That is sweet. It looks like a threaded barrel. How does .17 hmr do suppressed?
  8. ive heard alot of good things about their "hawk" shotguns Ive heard that they are bassicly norinco
  9. Ive noticed someone called it TICS. Is that diiferent than NICS? I always thought it was national and the stae had nothing to do with it. Is there a national check and state check.
  10. That carden apartments website looks promising but they dont allow pets, it still might work. intown suites looks good too but no pets. In TN do most renters want you to fill out applications and ask for social security numbers? where we are in montana its almost impossible to find an appartment that is not from a property management company. And they want way to much info. Its funny my wife and i are both from upstate ny and rentals are easy to get. ive had appartments there where the landlord didnt even ask to see an id.
  11. Hey guys, can anyone here recomend a cheap motel with monthly rates in knoxeville or oakridge area. Or apartment complexes with month to month lease option. We have a cat. but if we had to hide him that would be ok too. thanks
  12. seagrams 7   mixed with pepsi MAX.  Try some whiskey mixed with diet rockstar. Its delicious
  13. price gaugers? more power to em. I sold some ak mags for five times what i paid. but i paid a high dollar for some ar mags. supply and demand. Capatalism :usa:
  14. I was in NY, victor ny , the day before the new law was passed. adventure line and parson mags were going for almost 80 bucks each.
  15. Well first congrats on the new AK. Pouring water into the gun is new to me.but to each their own. In my 5.56 norinco i use a .22 cal boresnake, when new they are realy tight. If the only problem you are having is the bore brush is too tight. maybe you could find some used ones that are broke in. 5.45 is not much smaller and i think the bore snake would do just fine. What make of rifle? can you post pics?
  16. +1 for imprimus. I signed up for constitution 101 when it was first offerd but still have not found time. It is on the list for next month.
  17. In five years my mkiii has been taken down once. took a month to put back together. now just gets sprayed with powder blast. actulay hate this gun should have got a buckmark.

    New ink

Nice. thank you for your service.
  19. saddly no . It was at the Deer creek shooting center just outside of missoula MT. part of western mt fish and game association. I have seen instructors use real handguns in tactical training , as in weapon retention techniques. But have never seen this before.
  20. I took his license plate numbers to give to the staff.
  21. I took a trip to the range today. Did a little bullseye practice at 25 yards with a Ruger MKIII. When this family came over and set up at a few benchs down. A father, mom and a couple kids. After the kids did some shooting with rimfires. The father takes out a S&W automatic and has his daughter aim it downrange. He then explains how to line up the sights , then stands in front of her and has her aim directly at his face. while he looks to see how she is using the sights. Im staring in disbelief. Then father takes the pistol and aims in his daughters face, while explaining how to use sights. Now this is well beyond what is exceptable at this range , but is this ever done to teach new shooters? It seems like common sense screams NO. I maybe wrong but it is defanitly not allowed here at this range. Most of the time there is no range staff present, and no one was there today. So i guess my question is, is this ever done by firearms trainers ? I got the heck away from these people.
  22. Actualy im not realy sure about the laws here in mt about carrying knives. any length is legal if its visible but there may be limits for concealed carry.
  23. There is something about a knife. I dont know what it is, but its very personel. my cousin gave me this boot knife when i was maybe ten. She was in the air force and as i remember . but could be wrong she said it was standard issue. I have carried this knife ever since. Im 29 now and have used it for self defense( stupid teenage fights) . Even now this knife goes everywhere with me . in situations where the firearm stays in the jeep , the tanto stays there. Do any of you guys have a carry knife with a personel story. or know anything about taylor knives. I have since then lost contact with her and dont know if my memory makes any sense. It could have been just some knife she picked up somewhere. but it is a nice fighting knife.
