  1. Does it have any Dept. markings?  Nice
  2. well i actually dont blame the people making some money on the 22s. heck i sold a few bricks for way more than i paid for them. but i sure wouldnt pay those prices. Let supply side economics run its course.
  3. I would feel comfortable with either a G23 or 27 here in TN. A few years ago my wife and i were hiking near missoula MT and walked right up on a Grizzly. He ran off about twenty yards and just looked at us. All I had on me was a G23, So i figured id shoot the tree right next to his head and scare him off. He didnt even blink. We just walked away as slowly "but quickly" as we could. Next week picked up a Redhawk and loaded it with Buffalo bore.
  4. I like it.  Ive been thinking of picking one of those up for awhile.
  5. Dang! When we were looking at homes for sale i realy wanted to find something in the county so i could shoot but, the convenience of city life won out. maybe it would be a good idea to buy a cheap crossman and put a few bucks away for a fine, just to test the waters in my neighborhood.
  6. Gimli looks like a fine gentlemen.  BUIS? Optics?
  7. Hey guys. I live in knoxville city limits. Are there any ordinances or rules about shooting air guns in city limits? Or what if a squirell is being a pest, destructive. do i need a hunting license to shoot it (legaly). Im planning on buying a decent .177 cal. piston air rifle for target practice and pest control. will be shooting it in my backyard. I have about 225 feet to play with.
  8. Hey guys. Has anyone else had this happen when on armslist. The website redirects you to some other site. for me its always been some video game site. Ive noticed for the last week a tleast once a day it happens and i check armslist probably five or six times throughout the day.
  9. Right now all mine are chinese flatback. I like all the millsurp stuff .      If any one here has a norinco 84 or bwk92 ive found the Ploish beryl mags to be very reliable
  10. I ussually see used ones in excellent condition at the shows for twenty. other than my 22 round .40 mags all mine were baught used.
  11. Wow thanks guys. i called a few electricians for quotes for pigtailing and they said they wont do those types of connections. I think we will be looking at some more houses
  12. Thanks for the replys.  We are looking at buying a house and it has single strand alluminum wiring. The home inspector told us about the wiring and possible dangers. He told us about pigtailing , using the special wire nut with nonoxidizing paste.  Being first time home buyers we realy have no idea whats the norm.   I dont have any pics.  But  right now the connections to the terminals are unsafe according to the home inspector. If a qualified electrician made the connections, would you feel safe with the wiring?
  13. Hey guys. How dangerous is single strand alluminum wiring in houses? And are there any safe and effective fixes other than a complete rewiring job? We have heard mixed things about pigtailing, are there any other methods?
  14. had them put on at predator custom. great people there. thanks for the replies.
  15. went to tac (coal creek) . there was no one there who could do it on sunday and they said it would be thirty bucks. thirty bucks seems kinda high, and i realy didnt like the guy at the counter. I stood there waiting for at least fifteen minutes before he acknowleged me. Ill probably just wait till i get a day off and stop in to predator custom. they are right around the corner from my house .
  16. yep factory sights. if i had the proper tool i would do it,   Thats who i was thinking, ill probably head over there when they open
  17. yea, ive been in there a few times but thay arent open on sundays and im hoping to get it done right in k noxville
  18. Yesterday i traded a guy a 550 round box of 22s for a brand new set of trijicon sights. seemed fair to me, ive had the box sitting around for a few years. I think i only paid twenty something for it. anyways today is sunday and i want toget them put on. where would be the cheapest place to get this done today? they are going on a Glock 23

  21. That looks nice. Is there a "wrist brace"in its future? :woohoo:
  22. I had one , my first and only red dot. My problem was the the dot was iregular shape more likle a line . it was actualy acurate for close range plinking. might be ok far a kids 22.  i got it for 99.99 at bob wards in hamilton MT. paid 20 bucks for a higher mount then sold it for 70 bucks to a pawn shop in missoula MT. Ill stick to my irons till i can afford a decent red dot.
  23. I heard it is gonna look like a JR carbine but have a 7.5" barrel and come with a wrist brace and a Special "oil filter/ solvent catch"
