Hey, I'm amazed at guys like you that forge your own blades. Some day I'll do this, I hope, but the fact your even doing it would be satisfaction to me. Thanks for sharing, I don't fully understand everything that happened, but I do get the frustration - experience is not easy to gain.

I'm no apologist for either, but Obama took 131 vacation days in his first four years, Dubya took 1.020 in his eight years.    The both suck.

I think you give our government too much credit, assuming this sort of thing would only ever be used to stop an immediate threat. I guarantee it's only a matter of time before a US citizen is taken out as an 'AQ operative'. Hopefully the operator will have better aim than they've had in foreign countries. If you can't see this as a slippery slope, I don't know what to say.

Literally every single person I've known who has planted it has regretted it later. And you better like it, because getting rid of it is nearly impossible. I love the look of it, but wouldn't consider it after every single person has told me how much they wish they'd not done it.

 Yah, but my point is getting those contracts in place (assuming they've not already done so) would likely be easy - they could literally have zero down time in manufacturing if all they have to to 'move' is the offices & warehouse and associated shipping equipment.   Yah, just saying there's more to it - it's not a done deal. If Magpul doesn't do any of the injection-molding in-house, the move could actually be quite easy.   Also, unless I missed something, this will have to pass the senate and be signed by the governor before Magpul pulls up roots...

I don't recall which one, but a firearms / prepper forum was hacked a while back (maybe two years ago? I don't recall which forum it was) and a similar email was sent out to all members. I had signed up on that forum to read one thing and had never been back, so I was shocked when the email arrived, apparently from that forum's admin. A few days later a follow-up email came telling everyone they had been hacked, etc, and ever since that occurrence I've occasionally received these (similar) emails. I suspect whoever hacked that site not only sent out a mass email as the admin but also harvested the email addresses for future use.
