  1. Comparing 'looking for trouble' with 'recording it' is asinine, specifically in this case. Apples and oranges.
  2. I'm no expert, but I'm thinking this qualifies under Godwin's Law.
  3. Fair enough, was going to ask you to answer my other questions in that post as well instead of cherry picking, but after seeing the loving attitude you've displayed here, I'll pass. Have fun.
  4. Fair enough, I guess my point is this - do you consider tolerating a sinful behavior the same as celebrating? There are tons of sinful behaviors that are widely tolerated by the church (both Catholic and Protestant), so where is the line drawn? Further, are you wanting a theocracy in the US or are you wanting equal freedoms applied to all consenting adults?    These aren't 'gotcha' questions, they're very real issues we as Christians have to deal with. I love my neighbors who are separated and cheating on each other just as I did when they were together. I also love my alcoholic friends, and those who are gay. I just try to love my neighbor and let God handle salvation / condemnation. Does that make me wishy-washy?
  5. Is it? The OP stated he was leaving youtube because they were 'supporting LGBT pride' - I'm curious as to whether the Christians who support him extend the same judgement or intolerance to all sin that's outlined in the bible or if that's applied only to homosexuality. I'm a Christian and I've a hard time understanding how someone can (seemingly) pick and choose which sins are tolerated and which are not.
  6. I wonder if all the folks who are against homosexuality based on it being a sin also extend the same consideration / action towards all biblically defined sin.
  7. I feel for those that live there and disagree with the politics - my point is we need not worry as if what CA does translates everywhere else. It most certainly does not.
  8. And yet while CA's laws have become more restrictive over the last two decades, the rest of the country's have become less so...   IOW, let CA be CA and be diligent about our local laws, but don't sweat what the people of CA have to deal with - they elected the people who make these laws.   I know the general reaction around here is 'aim for the blue helmets, they're just around the corner'  but the reality is we enjoy far more freedom wrt firearms today than we did even a decade ago...
  9. At this point I just have to ask - who cares? CA is its own thing, full of, well, its own thing...

  11. I don't get to shoot as often as I'd like anymore as I refuse to use public ranges, precisely due to this sort of idiocy.
  12. This is the ultimate example of the fact that government is OF the people, not OVER the people. They can't stop the tech, it's already surpassed any control they might have thought they had.   Government power is derived by the desire of the governed, not imposed. The DD Liberator was designed to remind folks of that and has done so admirably.
  13. A good pellet rifle is all you need...
  14. Senate doesn't have to vote on it, but if they don't, it doesn't go into effect: U.S. Constitution - Article 2 Section 2 "He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur"
  15. 53 senators signed what was essentially a powerless yet public statement against it a month or so ago - almost no chance they can pull 66 senators together to ratify.
  16. Glad you guys are OK, feel bad for the lady's family.   And this is a prime example as to why we only drive bigger, heavier vehicles. Sure, they're tougher on the environment, but no amount of technology can side-step physics - you're either the golf ball or the club...
  17. Funny, the only kabooms I've ever heard of in Glocks were with reloads.
  18. Wife got me a Diana model 34 in .22 cal for Christmas. Came with a scope, deadly accurate.
  19. I doubt this goes anywhere - NK can't sustain a war and don't have the tech to hang with US (or even SK, for that matter). More saber rattling, imo.
  20. You're too kind - that would rule. Thanks.
  21. Hey, I'm still buying from knifekits.com, so you're way beyond me. Thanks for sharing - things like this are good to recall when we screw up while learning.
