  1. $130 for a gunvault is worth the piece of mind. Not to mention a would be thief while I'm not home would have to dismantle the bed and carry a 2x12 out the door with the vault on it.
  2.   If you have children around, a gun should not be accessible to them at all regardless of one in the chamber or unloaded.  I have two small children and my bedside gun and kitchen gun are both secured in a GunVault, fully loaded.  When they become of age, and are responsible enough to know, I will tell them what the combination is in case there is ever a need for them to get to it.  But that will be a LONG time.  It took me a while to even let my wife know what the combination is.
  3. I had a great time today. The mystery course was challenging to say the least, but it was good to get some trigger time after a two month hiatus.
  4. Also asking seriously... why not in your bedside piece?
  5. LOL he said it first.
  6. I thought it was a good show, and I got to fondle things I can't have :). I did walk away with a new savage 17 wsm that I'm looking forward to setting up. I also found one of my unicorns.. a CZ Tactical Sport in n 9mm! Ammo was "reasonable" meaning there were many tables with everything but 22 at Walmart prices.
  7. I have been patiently waiting all week for the CoF and now you do this to me??  LOL
  8. It's been several years since I've been up there.  Since you reminded me of it, maybe I'll go up there Saturday instead of the Hendersonville show.
  9. That is so awesome!  We look at those things now and think "duh, that is how you would do it."  But put yourself in their shoes thousands of years ago with what they had to work with.  The guys that came up with those machines were as bright as the guys coming out of MIT today.
  10. I moved here in January 2011 from KY and paid the fee at the DOT, got my fingerprints, and got my permit in about 6 weeks.  My dad did the same.  Maybe it has changed since then.
  11. Dickerson Pike @1130 6 boxes 50rd Remington 223 6 boxes 20rd Tula 7.62x39 Misc hunting rifle rounds. Zero handgun ammo
  12. I have this one and it is very stout. http://www.slik.co.jp/slik_com/PS-PRO700DX.html
  13. I would like to put a jammer in our conference room to keep managers off the phone during meetings ;)
  14. LOL, yeah SEO can get expensive.  I'm glad you called him though, and I didn't mention price because I didn't want to scare you off that the thought of this being part of your marketing budget. SEO has replaced a good portion marketing budgets out there.  I know mine is pretty ridiculous but it provides more bang for our buck than print or radio.    Gary is good at what he does or I wouldn't have sent you there.  With that said, it's no hard feelings if you guys decide to do something else.  I wanted you to get an honest quote.
  15. Calhoun Custom all day long.
  16. Gone as of this morning.
  17. The 20gr 17 WSM Vmax bullets just came available.
  18. Back on topic here, Dickerson Pike is pretty empty but there are four boxes of 50ct Federal 45 auto left.  $21/box.
  19. I used to send all of my clients to Louisville Web Group when I was in the web business.  Gary Rawlings did all of my SEO work.    http://www.louisvillewebgroup.com/
  20. I do all of the bookkeeping, so she doesn't know.  Ammo is hard though because I get components and stuff on the internet and have them shipped to the house.  She doesn't care anyways.
  21. Just another reason USPS needs to go away.
  22. Sorry I missed the match today.  I'll definitely be there next month.
  23. I've noticed the same thing about Rainier vs BBI vs Bayou Bullets.  They are all in the same ballbark, and from what I gather, all perform about the same.  The benefit for BBI and Bayou is they are fully insulated from the fluctuation in copper prices.
  24. You guys just reminded me I need to put my pistol back in my truck :ugh:
