    Went in Academy in Smyrna just to see the status of AR's and ammo. Not one AR15 or AR10 and only a small amount of .223 and they were the red tip varmit rounds. So basically what I expected to see. Gun shelf is very bare!

    Just looked on CTD website at .223 1000 round case that they had hiked to $900 today and now that they are sold out, they dropped the price back to $399. This is f'd up!

    This is getting ridiculous! I was hoping that Academy would at least hold out. Did Bass Pro ever have them on their website? Because if they did, they aren't there now. I never looked at their website that much so not sure if they were there, but it seems like there were a few?

    I was just pulling up CTD's website to show him that the PMAG's were $59.97 and they are down to $29.97 ???? Still ridiculous price, but strange.

    A buddy of mine is at Academy in Mt Juliet right now. He said they still have a few AR15's in stock if anyone is looking.

    Finally joined after browsing for a week or so. Lot of good info on here. I love to take the family shooting, and love to hunt, wish I had more time to do both, but don't we all?
