I recently purchased an 11 drawer tool chest from Sears on black Friday for $200! I knew going into this that it would be a $200 tool chest.. but I'm a Systems Administrator by trade... I just need to place to put my home tools, not something super rugged to stand up to the demands of a full on shop. I rarely build anything beyond the occasional home repair or cub scout project. This has been an awful experience sadly...and I haven't even put so much as a screwdriver into it yet!!!!!! Rewind to black Friday: I go to the sears in rivergate (closest option) because I saw the sale online and wanted to go look at it before purchasing. They have it and it's in stock.. for around $400. I ask the sales associate and i'm told that the deal was "door buster" and that I can't get it at that price anymore. I check online, it's still the lower price. He says you have to order it online and that you can't get it in the store. So I look online and it gives me the option for instore pickup (that took a few to figure out because they somewhat hid that option online). 45 minutes later, I finally get to order it online and drive around the building to pick it up. The following day: I put my new tool chest together only to discover that one of the drawers was never fully built. The bearings are just laying under the drawer and the only way to attach them is to cut open the back and push the tray in. Seeing how it's brand new, I'm not going to do this. I call their support line to find out what to do. I'm told I need to package up all 3 pieces and ship them back. Ship them back!?!? At my expense!? I don't think so Sears.... They refuse to reimburse. I figured the person had no clue what they were talking about. Their English was poor, so I hung up and called back. The next person, who understood me a bit better, says "you can just ship back that one piece, but at your expense". I hung up again and called back. This time the person spoke fluent and said I could just take the one piece back to the store. Ok, i'll do that A few weeks later (hey, I've been busy!): I load up the broken section and take it back to rivergate. They accept the toolbox and give me a return slip. I head to the register, tell them I need to exchange it, they have it in stock... easy money right? Wrong. They muck up the exchange and recharge my card instead of just exchanging it, I called them on it so they voided the transaction. Then they come back and say "Ok, that will be $10". "$10? For what?" I say. "Well we don't have it at the price you got it for online, so you have to pay the difference". I said "I'm not paying anything else, I already paid gas to bring this thing back. I give you the broken one, you give me the working one, it's simple". They go on to tell me how Sears online is their own competition and that they can't meet that price, but there's no place for me to ship it back to. So basically I have to keep the broken one, or pay that extra $10. I bust a blood vessel yelling and finally one guy says "well, I guess we can just price match it"......... Well, why didn't you just LEAD OFF WITH THAT OPTION. At the pickup station: The very nice lady rolls out the replacement part. Before I could even mention it, she tells me to open it and look it over. 1st box: The top won't shut correctly so it won't lock 2nd box: The entire side is caved in 3rd box: one of the interior trays is slightly warped They don't have any more so I just took the last one as the warp isn't terrible. Conclusion: Craftsman used to mean something but it appears those days are over. I still haven't put anything in that toolbox yet because I'm debating on just getting my money back. I went into home depot and spotted a 12 drawer that's the same price and very similar.... it even appears to be more sturdy! ***edit*** TL;DR - Sears Craftsman is bad and they should feel bad for it.

Here's the flicks I can recall watching. Despicable Me 2 - Highly recommend. I have two kids so I took the whole family, we laughed pretty much the whole movie. After Earth - If you were expecting Will Smith in an action film, you got the wrong movie. Pacific Rim - Cheesy even on red box World War Z - Good flick, wasn't a "look how pretty brad pitt is" film, which was my initial concern. Enders Game - Great Sci-fi flick, though it did stray from the book quite a bit Gangster Squad - Decent movie, if you can get past the guy from the notebook and his squeaky voice Iron Man 3 - Didn't hold up to Part 1 & 2 in my opinion Warm Bodies - Actually, wasn't all that bad... Oblivion - I liked it, despite the fact that Tom Cruise is a crazy pants... I think he's a decent actor. Identity thief - meh.. laughed a few times Grown Ups 2 - Funny, though not as good as the first Jack the Giant Slayer - surprisingly, not a bad movie On a side note since it's not a movie: If you're not watching Game of Thrones, you're missing out.

Grownups? Lousy? Come now Tanker... I thought it was one of the funniest movies I had seen in years at the time it came out! Usually every comedy movie winds up with someone getting a hard learned lesson or it gets all dramatic.. that one was just for laughs. I loved it. Part 2 was funny but it didn't have the same impact the first one did.

Federal authorities charge white ‘knockout’ suspect with hate crime

I suppose this yokel was trying to make a point about inequality for the races. Fortunately for the rest of humanity, all he proved was "stupid is as stupid does". Enjoy your gang beatings and involuntary prison buttsex! -

Bah, unfortunately it appears to be a fake as people are claiming Will doesn't tweet....

I got a good laugh out of this.

Not to belittle him or his work, but when I see O'Toole, I think Sneakers O'Toole from Family Guy.

Right?! I also don't get why they didn't go with the dual extractor setup. I asked the misses for a 590a1 for Christmas but unfortunately my Red Ryder story didn't play out. Her father saw me walk by while they were on skype today and he made the comment "Hey big guy, now that you've provided a wonderful Christmas for the rest of your family, go get that shotgun you want". It made me smile a bit that he has my back.
-
Sorry, totally missed your question! I like the style of the ghost rings, I like the positioning of the safety and slide release (long as it's not on a pistol grip). I like the fact that it's a screw to remove the extractor vs a pin. I like the parkerized finish and the fact that you can still get Magpul aftermarket parts. most of that is subjective and to be frank...i haven't even shot one to tell you one is better than the other. But i'd willing to bet that they're a popular choice for a reason.

It's 1am and Santa has already come and gone. He had a much faster trip this year as my son didn't request Legos. Poor ole Santa was up till 4am assembling the piles of Ninjago, only to see them destroyed within the hour. I think there are still tear stains on the rug from that one. Now that my daughter is 2 1/2, we're in full on Christmas spirit mode. It's wonderful watching them light up at the thought of the season and i'm grateful that at their core, they understand that Jesus is at the root of Christmas and not just boxes and material things. My son is 7 this year and I fear he may discover the secrets of the north pole this coming year. He's started asking the Bass Pro Santa (yup, we take them there yearly) to answer questions like "where do I live? what is my name?" etc. but for now, I'll just relive the magic of my childhood through him and hope that it's as wonderful for him as it was for me. Perhaps one day I'll be able to see grandchildren share the same joy. I hope the holidays are wonderful for all of you and especially for the little ones I know you all hold so dear!!! P.S. Miss you dad

Pegged me as Nashville because i said "coke". Chattanooga and Columbus (GA) as alternates. This also proves why I didn't get along with my former boss. My least similar was Minneapolis.. which is where she was from!
-
That can depend on a lot of things. namely if you're under an older plan perhaps. Also bear in mind I tested to DC as the OP did, you're hitting Nashville.
-
Did they provide you with a static IP as part of that? My consumer grade is $50 a month ***Edit*** Technically I have a 25mb plan but 20 is about the best i can pull.

Comcast is a racket. Those people are criminals and imho should be facing jail time for all of the tax fraud, throttling of bandwidth to P2P services, superfluous charges and unnotified changes to your bill they've done of the years. I hate that company with every fiber of my being. As you can tell, I'm a customer. If I could get TDS in my neighborhood, I would instantly.
