  1. If it worked, I doubt they'd be allowed to sell it to the public.
  2. The Alaskan co-pilot   http://www.wildwestguns.com/custom-guns-2/alaskan-co-pilot/
  3. One question that will always get a blank stare in return: Why do liberals prefer restrictions, waiting periods, background checks, and user fees for the second amendment, but squeal like schoolgirls at the mention of merely showing an I.D. to vote?
  4. I've been using mil comm tw 25b and like it. Outpost armory stocks it.
  5. Got a 2000 crew cab with 200k miles on it and it still runs like a top. Before that I had a 91 crew cab hardbody with 385k miles on it and would probably still be driving it except some guy ran a red light and t-boned me.   Love the Nissan trucks, you can't hurt them IMO.
  6. 30-30 shows up on lots of SHTF caliber choices. Not surprising.
  7.   Don't forget about the Ronin motorcycle.
  8.   Just wondering why a poll tax has been declared unconstitutional, but not this? Both are a fee to exercise a constitutional right.
  9. Hello from another Mike in Shelbyville.
  10. If a violent two hour movie and hours and hours of violent video games has zero influence on behavior, why do companies pay 4 million dollars for a 30 second commercial during the super bowl, to try to influence us to buy their products?
  11.     Short version: Everything is better, if it isn't it's Bush's or congress's fault. Look at me, I'm great.
  12. +1 on the Lowe's or Home Depot tool bag. No reason to advertise to thieves.
  13. Hmm, Another Shelbyvillian, we need to go shooting. Wink wink.   Nice stash.
  14. The charging statue is 1307, and there is no mechanism in it to charge someone for possession or carrying a weapon in their home, as it says it must be in a public place, so the defense in 1308 is moot.   Edited to add....Just reread it, you are correct. Apologies.
  15. I'll save ya some time:   39-17-1351 subsection "t"    Any law enforcement officer of this state or of any county or municipality may, within the realm of the officer's lawful jurisdiction and when the officer is acting in the lawful discharge of the officer's official duties, disarm a permit holder at any time when the officer reasonably believes it is necessary for the protection of the permit holder, officer or other individual or individuals. The officer shall return the handgun to the permit holder before discharging the permit holder from the scene when the officer has determined that the permit holder is not a threat to the officer, to the permit holder, or other individual or individuals provided that the permit holder has not violated any provision of this section and provided the permit holder has not committed any other violation that results in the arrest of the permit holder.
  16. No it's not, unless your home is open to the public.   Edited to add- The smilies aren't mine. They appeared from a copy/paste from Mitchie's.
  17.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burial
  18. I've got the older version of this one and have no complaints with it.   http://www.etoncorp.com/en/productdisplay/solarlink-fr370
  19. Agreed.   In a traffic stop keep your hands on top of the wheel. At your first chance tell the officer you have a carry permit and where the gun is, and wait for him to instruct you further. We're all trained to expect that everyone is armed until we know differently. If I pull someone over and they tell me they have a permit, I automatically know, chances are I am dealing with a pretty decent person.
