I have used Mobil 1 and Amsoil in the past. A few years I went back to the Motorcraft Syn-Blen that Ford issued new in my vehicles. For me changing regularly and using only a quality oil filter is peace of mind enough. I would never wait 7,500 miles for an oil change ... using synthetics, or not. If I run the cars hard I will change the oil every 1,500 miles or so.

Which rail did you use to mount the pod on the M1A? GI stock or aftermarket?

I have been looking for a GI parts M1A for sometime now. Thought I would share what I came up with. A couple of weeks ago I found a mint 1988 preban Springfield. I thought that I would share some before and "progress" pics. TRW OP Rod TRW Bolt Winchester Trigger housing with GI parts in it August 1969 SAK Barrel came with box, Springsfield 1st Gen Mount and a Simmons 44MaG 3x-10 scope In the last two weeks I have added: IOR 2.5-10x Scope (Thanks to gcrookston on TGO) ARMS #22 Medimum Rings (Thanks to gcrookston on TGO) ARMS #18 Mount GI Painted stock (Selector area filled and painted) Check rest with three different vecro heights. I may add a Harris pod next .. not sure.
