  1. I am looking to start a trust for my future NFA stuff... made a few phone calls in trust lawyers, and it sounds like $2000 is the number to get one going that is a good after death trust... is this right? Also, is the E-file a faster way to get a stamp back?
  2. It is a fast little round... I have shot the hmr and it is fun to shoot.. can't wait to shoot the magnum version
  3. It is a crying shame that nobody can make a safe to shoot .17hmr semi auto rifle ehh? Loads of it.
  4. Murfreesboro lady said they had some in at 7 AM but would not put it out until later. The older lady working the counter said they will start putting it out at random. Maybe AM or PM... she would not specify a time... Finally, maybe... just maybe... they have seen the light of the reseller VS a customer who is buying other things in their store.
  5. I will never do business with them after they gouged the people no matter how good the deal. I think it is actually good and funny that they had a lot of stuff stolen from them... they see what it's like to be stolen from.
  6. I ordered a rail, rings, and something else last month. I had to backorder it all. I bought them as a set. They shipped them separately and was charged shipping on both items. It does not stop there. I was charged $18 in shipping for scope rings. I understand if they had to ship them separate... I am not wild about it, but ok... whatever. The simple weaver rifle rail mount cost me $11 to ship them ! I called and politely voiced my opinion and that was that. Now, for today... Over the past few months I have had .22LR backordered. I read on some forums that "hurry, midway has .22lr 500 round bricks".... Curious, I looked... they were out. The problem I have is this... 2 different bricks have been on backorder for 3 months, yet the same item number is posted and sells out in billionths of a second of course online. I called and asked why items I have backordered are not being filled when clearly they have sold that item online separately. The answer I received " real time orders are filled before backorders are sir".... I won't make a difference, but I am done with Larry SmokesPotterfield... I will break my 11 year loyalty to them today. I suggest you guys consider the same.
  7. When do they bring it out for franklin or Murfreesboro? I have to replace this .22 we shot on this summer day today!!!
  8. I always get my stuff from them within a week....
  9. Went to another TN walmart for paint, stopped by ammo booth. No .22 obviously.., after chatting with the lady in sporting goods for 15 minutes, she finally let this out "we are taking it upon ourselves as managers and assistant managers to set the ammo out randomly". "It's taking away from our commerce throughout the store and we've seen this". "We are also tired of folding up the sporting goods chairs from the campers and cleaning up their McDonald's and spit cans etc". Sounds like they have not gotten the ok from management, but she's done with people like me just asking. She didn't mean that in a rude way. She also said that they are getting more .22 every month. She exclaimed that 2 525 federals stayed on the shelf overnight last night!!! Hope at last!!
  10. That, and he needs to fight a well built guy on drugs... they don't fly off the elbow like that. He's terribly wrong when he strips the pistol. I have worked around real operators, and they do not muzzle sweep their faces while ripping the pistol out of the bad guys hands... Always strip it away from your face... this thread is entertaining. These guys are the real deal no BS... it's sad that average folks don't know what they are getting and what they are missing...  I know Greg pretty well, and he cringes at this stuff... He and Destin are real deal instructors...  http://www.vatatrainingcenter.com
  11. Other dies fit the Hornady style locking lugs?
  12. NO thanks...
  13. Which do you have? A LNL or RCBS?
  14. That is an ammo company markup.
  15. Just so you know to try it... regular cleaner burning plain jane .22LR from CCI is subsonic in my longer barrel suppressed .22 rifles. Don't be fooled with the $9 a round gemtech stuff going forward...
  16. OK. good point. I am pretty mechanically inclined... so I think I am going to dive in. Everybody tells me get a single stage first to learn on, but as easy as the progressives seem... I think I will buy once with a LNL and dive in. I think I might head up to Nashville and look around at the store up there... Perhaps I should contact David here for pricing too. Maybe one day I will get a single stage, but I see no reason why. Between my buddies and I, we shoot a lot. A single stage would take forever.
  17. I think there are hundreds of thousands of people like my wife and I would LOVE to plink... I would buy a bulk pack a month just to shoot it. I can almost tell you as a matter of fact that people who are at least trying to buy it are the plunkers who are trying to replenish... and mostly the resellers. Those resellers are the reason for the shortage. Somebody broke it down on line and when you distribute the billions of rounds of .22lr a month being made, and ration it out between ALL stores and wholesalers( not just Wally).... that it boils down to just say a hundred thousand rounds per region. It distributes down to nothing by the time it's spread out over this massive country of shooters. Then there are the folks who are game players. You know, the high score keepers. " I have 100,000 rounds of .22lr" type. They are literally addicted to ammo. My best friends son collected hot wheels cars for a while. He wanted a treasure hunt edition car. I scanned Walmarts, nothing. Finally, I found out that the workers would go through the cases and get the TH cars and sell them out the back just like .22. It's a collectors game, a treasure hunt... a metal detector type thing. Some people are addicted to .22lr finds. It's a reward type thing. It's total BS and insane.
  18. As do I... however lately, I can find pretty easily.... that Walmart is the same as the online places without the bog shipping fees....
  19. They really haven't raped on price at all.
  20. Muslims are peaceful people. It's for the children you racist people. Sigh. I've seen enough of this to piss me off to no end. I'm tired of the double standards.
  21. Who's going to add up the list? It just hit me.. These are known transfers. Wonder how many more were built and not sold yet. Awesome. America!!!!
  22. I know it's a PITA... Shouldn't be. It's America.
  23. You will become very annoyed with the wood burning heat exchangers. Getting up at 3 am sucks. Plus hauling, stacking, cutting the wood gets old. Heat pumps here at the house did ok last 2 nights.
  24. Less than 500 guns sold in DC?? How's that low of a number possible?
  25. Would you mind to find a box of Federal 525 count .22lr for $26 ? That's what I thought... facts man... gotta have em first...
