  1. Ehh, I was set on one and talked myself out of it. The inability to swap VZ58 parts to the VZ2008 gave me a headache. Basically everything that is made for the VZ58 will fit on this weapon.....after extensive modification. So...I went with a Saiga instead. It is a good deal though, if you intended to leave it just as it comes.
  2. 10,000 internets to you, friend. Good show.
  3. That's pretty awesome. I've decided when I get around to doing my "man room" it will be in antique gun stuff and old medical stuff, since both me and the wife are medical
  4. I'd like to see highlighted benefactor members with special skill sets, maybe every so often? Grand Torino is the first one that comes to mind. Maybe do a video on his knife making process. If he's ok with that, of course. Or Dolomite and one of the 10,000 ideas for cool stuff I see him post about. Just a thought. We have some very talented folks that are a part of this site, it'd be cool to highlight that I think.
  5. Holy crap those facebook comments are scary. Many of them are encouraged by this guy
  6. Saw this on facebook a while back. Definitely cannot tell that is a pistol grip shotgun without looking close. Pretty crazy
  7. Ludicrous. I do like that grip reduction, however.
  8. Have to agree. If I was operating under a "money is tight" circumstance I wouldn't be entertaining this idea at all. I suppose one could be mislead by my original post in thinking so, but I was more curious than anything. I have just reached the point where I have built/bought all the weapons I want for the moment and I think instead of acquiring more weapons it would be fun to make some of them shorter and more quiet.
  9. Just as an update, it was literally within an hour of contacting Chip that he got back to me. I am going to try and get in on his holiday special. Thank you Mr. Cain for your time, and I like forward to working with you.
  10. I sent Chip a message through his site, I wasn't sure how often he logs in here. Now to make my wife understand all of this   :surrender:
  11. I guess I answered my own question, with y'all's guidance. This is the response I got from them. To me that's like saying "No, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night". Ok, maybe that was harsh, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence.
  12. You're right, I know it. It's not really the dollar factor I don't guess. I just wondered what the deal was with the low price. Guess I really need to do some digging.
  13. Let me start by saying I'm new to the NFA world. I know more about the can's and can'ts (laws) than I do about setting up a trust and getting the ball rolling. From the reading I have done both here and on other sites, it would appear a trust is the way to go if a person wants to get into NFA items. I also know that once I get started I'm not likely to stop with just one NFA item. That said, I came across this business Coyote Rifleworks offering trusts for $95. The old saying "if it seems too good to be true..." comes to mind, but what would be the difference in a solid trust and not? I know to some of you this is elementary, but I'd appreciate your input. Link to their site... http://www.coyoterifleworks.com/nfa-trust/
  14. There's several open threads on this right now
  15. Scratch that. Wife thought she bought tickets online today, apparently they didn't process. I'm trying to have a good attitude lol
  16. Where you headed? We're headed to see the 7:45 imax showing in cool springs
  17. Apparently I was more right than I knew at the time
  18. So basically if you use it as intended you're fine. Put it against your shoulder and you're a felon. Freedom, eh?
  19. I might as well start preparing my form 1. The ATF (although it should be done away with) isn't going to let this continue I fear.
  20. I'll be in for 10 or so. I've never had a desire for a AR drum magazine, but I'll be picking up one of those from them too
  21. I'll be there tonight with the wife. I despise going to the theater on Friday or Saturday, but tonight is different
  22. Not to make an argument either way, but I saw this explanation by Mike Pannone today.
  23. MSRP is $15, so maybe around $12.99
