  1. Wow opinions abound. But like butts they all stink, including mine. Most criminals are cowards and leave if they detect a threat. Open or concealed your chance to fight back doesn't change. As for the argument might get others killed well if someone is willing to kill then either carry method doesn't change that. The video is someone's opinion just because you agree with it doesn't make it so. Train use proper equipment and keep your head on a swivel, how you carry is your choice and no one else's. This isn't a debate it's opinions and everyone has their own. If you want to prove a point come with facts, fortunately or unfortunately their are none, just opinions.
  2. Freedom their is nothing like it.
  3. God bless, keep fighting and keep your chin up.
  4. You might want to put this in the classified section.
  5. I say 308 for a battle riffle, what you choose is what's your budget. Can't go wrong with LWRC, or HK, I didn't have the cash for those I have an Aero precision M5 it's been great shoots MOA with bs 150 grain, and better with good ammo.

    Awareness

Practice and train, my son is ok, my wife is so so my daughter sucks. Play games have people leave a room and set it up normal things out of place. They have 15 seconds to look then remove them from the room. Do it with music once they get ok doing it. I test my wife while we are driving, or while we are out. Make it a game and fun. Just my two cents, I'm not a trainer.
  10. Welcome always great shopping and discussions
  11. Wellcome, strategic edge holds 22 competition once a month about an hour away. In chapel hill. Normally members only, competitions are open to all.
  12. Reading this was great entertainment. As always I don't care how you carry, it's about the person. Are you responsible, do you train, do you have proper equipment. I see concealed carriers that do it wrong, as well as open carriers. I shake my head at both. If you are aware, and you should be I'd bet you can guess who's carrying. I do both and yes I have a retention holster(level 2) for open carry, id say 85% I conceal carry. Carry how you want, don't judge those that do it differently then you. Do I recommend someone have an cheap unreliable firearm no, but if that's what they can afford I get it. I hate the way my wife shoots, but it works for her and she hits. Anyone who say their way is the only way, good luck.

  17. We must keep purchasing from local shops, to keep them up and running. I don't purchase ammo online any longer. I try to buy everything thru my local shop, not always successful. Luckily chapel hill has two shops.
