  1. Brand and caliber are all personal choices, but I think if you are in the area you would be foolish not to shop with the folks at G&L. 2 guns purchased last winter, and complete satisfaction with the price and the customer service.
  2. Col. Angus Lord of licapus...yeah, I know
  3. I have carried on the lake...alot. Especially at night, I would recommend it.
  4. Ignorance is bliss they say....how happy are you? Not picking on you, but seriously, re-read fallguy's post. If you want to believe that a judge won't issue an ex parte and he hearing come and go before you knew it. Well, thats the bliss thing.
  5. MAFIAoZA’s...in Nashville, on 12 ave. is the best pizza in town, if you like real NY style pizza. Since I am a former NY'r, that is my vote.
  6. Ya think maybe his mascarra ran, and it obscured his vision?...Or maybe he was just another DB?
  7. Heh, I was definately thinking a little broke back when I looked up the myspace page. Good thing he didn't want to "hang out" in the stand with you.

    New 16lb 9mm!

Sexy piece of weaponry there man...nicey nice.
  9. This guy is not going to spend more than $300 or $350. Since I don't know anything about the .380's I thought I'd ask in here. Heck, he was looking at a .22 for defense, untill another guy and I talked him out of that. He could afford a bit more, but he won't spend it....tight as a ducks butt, and that's waterproof!!
  10. Funny, and I have been holding this one for a while..... Can anyone tell me why, when I went to the Hendersonville Wal Mart, that the ammo was all locked up. But I go, the very next day, around 1pm, to the Rivergate Wal Mart (doubly yuckky) and the dude just slides the unlocked door, and hands me my 4 boxes of ammo? I just find that kinda, well.....screwy!! BTW...to keep on topic: if a stock clerk at Wally World said that they read it on the interwebs...then by God it might as well be in stone tablets walking themselvs down from the stinking mountain. I have shot the Win Clean in .45, I really like it. Best results I have had from any of my target ammo yet. I think the store I bought it from thought it was regular old WWB, because it was only $18.50 for a 50 round box.

    Advice on 45 carry

I have a Ruger P90, keep the damn laughter down, and I dig it. It does get heavy after about 4 or 5 hours. I bought this sweet little holster from Comp-Tac, IWB. I have worn my P90 with beach shorts(drawstring, no belt) and a long t-shirt while doing yard work, and it was fine...but again, a little heavy.
  12. Soooo basically.....if you think your Mosin kicks too hard, I will take it off your hands no questions asked. Don't ask don't tell and all that!!........ thankyouverymuch!!
  13. Heh...sorry, I was tired and the sarcasm got lost. He was looking over my shoulder as I was typing. He is looking for a .380. He doesn't know if he should get the Bersa, the Kel-Tec, or a Firestorm.
  14. Ok, I have a buddy looking for a Bersa 380. What's the dealio on these little gems? Worth the $329 or should he look at a Kimber Tactical .45.
  15. Ahhh the elusive mall ninjas.....I know one day i would see them.

    Rental Ranges

Guns and Leather would be my first choice.
  17. Wasn't some Jack*** trying to sell lowers for like $400 or something outrageous last fall, or earlier this year?
  18. We lived right by the mall when we first came to Tn.. Lived right on M-boro rd.. Can't believe I didn't have a gun on me back then...1996. Can't believe it has gotten worse. I grew up in Rochester, Ny...spent alot of time down in the city of Manhatten, and Hickory Hollow...wow...what a dump.
  19. Well, I did make it out last Friday, but really....honestly...not worth posting a pic. I forgot to read the rules before I left, so I shot 10 rounds from 15 yrds, best I could get is a 50 with my Ruger P90. I just need more practice, I couldn't have gotten a 50 4 or 5 months ago though. John
  20. I just did 11 days up in Wyomming, fished in Yellowstone, my first Trout exclusive venture, and it was awesome!!! 4 Brookies, not big at all, but they were my first trout ever.

    Downrange

Friday at G&L, 200 rounds through the Ruger P90. I need to get better with my .45. And another 50 rounds through the Security Six. Am wondering if I should keep it, or trade it for a .44 with a longer barell.
  22. I am hitting the range in the am. Got my fingers crossed, may even help iffin I hold the weapon with emm crossed.
  23. Yeah, I would definately check into "company policy" concerning such topics as illegal drug use, weapons etc. They may have some odd language in their written policy, if they even have a written policy? I know, I work for an airline, and I bought my first weapon from a posting on the bulletin board at the airport!!! Tell em that.
  24. The wife and I just got back from camping in Yellowstone for 9 days, and wowsers...whatta trip. For those of you that have never been, but have wanted to, it is definately worth the trip. We camped in a tent the entire time, no pop-up or trailer here. It snowed on morning number 1, and we were in double layered clothes every night, with gloves as well. For those of you that already did this when you were in the service, I am sure the novelty just wouldn't be there, but we had a great time When I get some of the 1500 photos uploaded I will post a link to photobucket or another host. John
  25. Yep, I go to Ohio regularly and they have had plenty of ammo every time I went. Funny huh?
