  4. My 30th B-day...I got my first fly rod, the next morning..Christmas day, I had leftover B-day cake, chocolate of course, and bacon for breakfast....it still makes me love her just that much more.
  5. Ok, so I am considering reloading as well. My major concern is out of pure ignorance, but how and where do you store your powder? I don't have a garage, or a shed...is it safe in the house? I know it won't ignite on it's own accord, but remember, I know nothing about this topic. John
  6. Wow, this thread has been awesome for me!! Thanks for all the input, I am now looking for an older Vaquero, or the Blackhawk...damn decisions
  7. Well that is alot of good info., I am trying to keep it under $500, but we will see. I like the look of the Uberti, but I do trust the Ruger more. I have looked at the Blackhawk, the Vaquero and the Cattleman, just for a add to my small collection. I really dig cowboy action guns, so we shall see what comes of it. When you say the "old" Vaquero, how old are you talking?
  8. so far so cool dude...web site looks great. I hope I can get to one of them.
  9. Welcome on man, enjoy yourself.
  10. Fun?...Fun you say? Damnit man, this is serious stuff, theres sun in yer eyes, sweat on yer brow, yer underwear feels like it's on sideways...and thats just the DRIVE to the range.....OMG!! The pressure.... Ok, just kidding...see you in 30 days hopefully

  12. As far as the RC car thing goes: Douchebaggery...chalk it up to that. Cops are understaffed and tired, douchebags are still plentiful, and we, the normal folks, have to put up with the crap that is left between em. The protestor: Hell yeah I woulda let that moron arrest me....I guess a school security guard can arrest folks now...ok, whatever. These morons make my ass twitch.
  13. Fine shooting boys....very nice...one day I will be brave and able, to post my holiest of holy targets.
  14. I am looking at purchasing another revolver. I kinda dig the old .45 colt, and have seen many versions but am down to the Ruger vs the Uberti. I know nothing about either one of these weapons except the pricing difference on-line....soooo Anyone have any thoughts...opinions....experience? Hickok..where are ya pal?
  15. A GD doctor that told me my back would be screwed for he rest of my life, and that I would need treatment from him every six months, but told my employer I am at 100% so they don't have to sompensate me for the injury!!!!!
  16. Wait...hold the phone......just a dag burn minute and whatnot!!! You mean to tell me that I can't post the picture of the 495lb whitetail I shot last season, well you sorry SOB'S are just gonna have to take my word for it, I aint goin to prison just because you folks are a bunch of untrustworthy individuals.... PS: ya smell that...kinda faint odor of sarcasm...huh?
  17. Yeah, sorry bout that. The magazine should be out of the weapon. And no, we as employees should NEVER handle YOUR firearm. We are to visually inspect that there is a firearm in the case, but it should not be handled at all by an airline employee.
  18. MMMMMMMMMMMMM........I'm thinking Arby's
  19. What better place to spend the happiest day of their lives than in a church. Friends, laughter, all kinds of happy and followed up by what was I am sure, a very typically religeous wedding ceramony. I would never dance like that, but I am glad someone does...heh...
  20. Sooooo glad I didn't buy that .45. Thanks G&L for steering me in the right direction
  21. As a SWA employee, they will not ask to see it. You declare that it is unloaded, and it is in a locked container. It may be placed inside of another bag, but the gun case has to be locked. SWA will visually verify that the gun case is locked. The TSA will not need to open it since the responsibility lies with the air carrier. FTI: we are not paid top dollar, but here in BNA I know for a fact nothing will be stolen from your luggage by one of us.
  22. So far, Mimmi's has not been posted. Ate there 7/26 and no posting at all..... And my house...while we will serve friends, and not the general public...is not and will not be posted...just call first...heh
  23. Never had a good meal there anyway...ate ther 2x's, and it sucked...in Hendersonville
  24. Wait a damn minute here...that glock can not possibly go off....noooooo, it's not because of the alcohol or the position of the weapon or booze...... Now you tuck that there firearm in a pair of velvety sweatpants...say the kind that run ya about $300, and you my friend have yourself one hell of a dangerous situation......specially if you are...say...a professional athelete........ohhhh heavens to betsy......someone call the ATF for God's sake!!!!
