Every time I see one of the Barrett rifles, I kinda get a chub. Is that weird?

heading down to CHMR Friday am. I am need of warming up my Christmas Mosin. Owned it almost a month, and all I have been able to do is clean it. I will be in a Silver F-150 with a bunch of bumper stickers on the back window. I have 200 rounds to warm up with, hope to see someone else there. Angus

Bought a Ruger P90 last year, called with a concern that the gub was shooting low. The fella I talked to said it was more than likely me, as did about 50 other people I have talked to as well, but...he said...could be the gun, so I will have a new rear sight out to you in a couple days, 10 days later, viola, I have my new rear sight. No questions asked, no big deal.

I swore I would not go back into Best Buy due to past experiences and the Thanksgiving add deal...butttttt. My computer crapped out on me, and I wanted a good computer that didn't come with a disgusting price tag. Guess who had em....yep...Best Buy. They have an ASUS brand desktop for $649. The thing is gigantic...and I mean huge. But, it rocks!! I built the same system at Dell, but with only a 220 watt power supply, and it was over $1300. Man I am diggin this thing. Now, off to CHMR (owl hollow) to be a member for 2010.

Got mine from Guns and Leather couple weeks ago. Hex head receiver. No better place than G&L if you ask me, and maybe when you go, Daniel won't call in sick, like a punk!!! JK man, hope yer feeling better.....musta been on heck of an anniversary?

I am kinda with Strickj...I really dislike people, especially this time of year. But since my job is to deal with them, I try to give them a good dose of what Christmas is all about. I smile at them, thank them abundantly, wish them good tiddings...and then when the realllll ass-wee-pays show up, I deny them boarding due to their "unsafe" attitude towards travel. Merry Christmas everybody!! Plus my B-day is the 24....I look great surrounded by .45 ammo...just an FYI.

I am just trying to get the sticky crap off of the stock. I do not want to strip it, sand it, burn it or hose it down. I just want to fondle it the way it should be fondled and not get sticky gun goo on me or my clothes..... Man I feel like I am 15 again.....sticky gun goo

I just want to clean it up a bit, not strip it. I am trying to avoid totaling it out all together. I have been told to use Scott's liquid gold wood cleaner. Anyone ever use it on their Mosin?

Ok, here is MY problem with teh whole deal..... Yes we have freedoms here that other countries don't have. Yes, the Muslims have as much right to celebrate whatever they want, as I do as a Christian. As far as the BB add though......well....BB took a stance in 2006 as a company not to offend those folks that do not celebrate Christmas, and since 2006 the company policy of BB is to not wish anyone a "Merry Chistmas". This is where my problem lies. It is a matter of ethics. They do not want to upset anyone with a "Merry Christmas", but when folks get upset about a Muslim holiday greeting, it's ok? No, we are not a Christian only country, but this country, and it's laws are based on Christian priciples. You do not have to be a Christian to have a Merry Christmas, or to celebrate Christmas. It is just a day that has been set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. For many Christians, it isn't even about gifts and paper and lights and whatnot. Alot of us just go to church, and spend time with family. A very simple day set aside for us.....Of course I have to work every Christmas...so what do I know right?

Thanks to all the folks up at G&L, I will be celebrating my second Christmas where most of the shopping has been done with them. The wife bought me a Mosin for Christmas 2009. Sweet gun!! Great price!! As always, one effortless transaction for the boys, and gals, in Greenbriar. Only 1 problem, since she is giving it to me as a Christmas gift, I have ot look at it from afar, and not shoot it till 12/25/09.....damnit!!
