AS I GROW OLDER               SINCE IT WAS SUCH A CRAPPY DAY I SAT IN MY RECLINER AND STARTED THINKING ABOUT LIFE AND CAME TO REALIZE THAT  AS I HAVE GROWN OLDER I'VE LEARNED THAT PLEASING EVERYONE IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT PISSING EVERYONE OFF IS A PIECE OF CAKE.   CONDOMS DON'T GUARANTEE SAFE SEX ANYMORE, A FRIEND OF MINE WAS WEARING ONE WHEN HE WAS SHOT BY THE WOMAN'S HUSBAND.     LANCE ARMSTRONG….I THINK IT IS JUST TERRIBLE AND DISGUSTING HOW EVERYONE HAS TREATED LANCE ARMSTRONG, ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HE ACHIEVED, WINNING 7 TOUR DE FRANCE RACES, WHILE ON DRUGS. HELL, WHEN I WAS ON DRUGS, I COULDN'T EVEN FIND MY BIKE.    DRIVE BY….SOME ONE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE LAST WEEK. THEY DIDN'T TAKE MY TV, JUST THE REMOTE.  NOW THEY DRIVE BY AND CHANGE THE CHANNELS ON IT. THE SICK BASTARDS!!!     THE AGONY OF AGING….ON THE MORNING THAT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDED I STOPPED IN TO VISIT MY AGING FRIEND. HE WAS BUSY COVERING HIS PENIS WITH BLACK SHOE POLISH. I SAID TO HIM, "YOU BETTER GET YOUR HEARING CHECKED - YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TURN YOUR CLOCK BACK".     VIDEO SCAM….JUST GOT SCAMMED OUT OF $25. I BOUGHT A TIGER WOODS DVD ENTITLED "MY FAVORITE 18 HOLES". TURNS OUT IT'S ALL ABOUT GOLF. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! PASS THIS ON SO OTHERS DON'T GET SCAMMED.     PREGNANT PROSTITUTE…DOCTOR ASKS A PREGNANT PROSTITUTE, "DO YOU KNOW WHO THE FATHER IS?" HEY DUMB ASS, SHE REPLIED, IF YOU ATE A CAN OF BEANS WOULD YOU KNOW WHICH ONE MADE YOU FART  ????.

  Dr Susan Gratia-Hupp - Survivor of the 1991 Kileen TX Lubys Shooting Massacre   Published on Dec 22, 2012 Hupp and her parents were having lunch at the Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen in 1991 when the Luby's massacre commenced. The gunman shot 50 people and killed 23, including Hupp's parents. Hupp later expressed regret about deciding to remove her gun from her purse and lock it in her car lest she risk possibly running afoul of the state's concealed weapons laws; during the shootings, she reached for her weapon but then remembered that it was "a hundred feet away in my car." Her father, Al Gratia, tried to rush the gunman and was shot in the chest. As the gunman reloaded, Hupp escaped through a broken window and believed that her mother, Ursula Gratia, was behind her. Actually however, her mother went to her mortally-wounded husband's aid and was then shot in the head. As a survivor of the Luby's massacre, Hupp testified across the country in support of concealed-handgun laws. She said that if there had been a second chance to prevent the slaughter, she would have violated the Texas law and carried the handgun inside her purse into the restaurant. She testified across the country in support of concealed handgun laws, and was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1996. The law was signed by then-Governor George W. Bush.

You own a BIG dog......an agressive breed?  When you go out in puplic..... parks...etc save yourself a lot of grive and lawsuits put a muzzle on him. 

I didn't want to add this post to the forum for obvious reasons but I think it will help someone get over the pain of losing a dog.  Those who know me and that I am an old fart 80 to be exact.   I have had many dogs in my life and if you came to my place you'd find a pet cemetery on my land.  There are 9 graves of the wonderful furry friend's I've had so far in my life. And I have found the best way to get over a lose is to go out and find one as quick as you can.  You can not do this with a human but it has worked for me. You can go out and find a dog one day and the next day he's licking your face and jumping in your lap. They are fast to learn who loves them.

If ya ever get to Gatlinburg.....there is a guy who makes leather goods....he's been there for years.

 I live on a dead end road that is on Douglas lake.  You would not believe how many dogs are dropped off here .  About 5 years ago the sweetest lab pup came on my property and made her way under my deck.  She soon found her way into my heart and needless to say she's been my buddy ever since.  I being 80 have had many dogs in my life never a lab and it's scary how attached to her I am.  I could go on and tell stories of how we get along like so many dog lovers do. If I could litter train dogs like ya can train cats I'd have a 100. 

I say....with all the drug use in this state.....I'll wear orange while I'm fishing.......huh....huh?

ya wont brake my doors in .......they swing out and look like jail house doors.....the jam has a protectve plate in front of it and the hinges are what they call "vault" type....no bolt acess......I payed $400.00 each about five years ago.

My son hung two security doors here....And I have security bars on my bottom windows.  Like most people ya never think about a brake in until it happens.  He also put security lighting outside and a drive way alarm.  It's gettin nasty out there!!!!!!

I just happen to be lookin here and would suggest that ya keep some super glue around.  For those who severed in Vietnam know what I'm talkin about.  It will stop bleeding in an emergency until a person can be stitched if needed.   It saved many in nam from bleeding to death.  

Well all you have to do is "GOOGLE"  .......canning recipes....you'll get enough to keep you going for the next 5 years!   I'm sure you know how to Google.....

With all do respect you guys are beating a dead horse!  Here's my take and I am 80 years old.  I think a man's home is his castle and when you take a weapon in his house you are disrespectful to him and his famlly.  If I am that fearfull for my life in his home then I wouldn't bother to go there.  I would never put him or his familly in that situation. That goes for anyone's home relative or friend. All my family agrees with me........

I love movies on the big screen, I will never go to Knoxville again now that we have this theater. I lover new 70 MM projection and sound. People that dont go to movies now dont know what their missing.  Movies on a TV just dont cut it.......even for this ole fart.  Plus i had to travel 100 miles round trip tp knoxville..........I'm about 10 miles from this new theater......and the price is right $7.00 all day.........Amen.

The one in Pigeon Forge is still there ........it was built a couple years ago......it is a shack....a joke .....lol your living room is bigger
